Well obviously.
Sure. Let them know how bad the stuff tastes and tell them that’s what it all taste likes if they think it was bad. If they liked it, tell them the alcohol makes it worse.
Probably not.
Yes as you said there’s no alcohol in it.
Sure. I would let a toddler drink de-alcoholized beer.
sure. not constantly.
no. First off, non-alcoholic beer still has small amounts of alcohol, which is why you can’t buy it unless you are 21. Secondly, drinking non-alcoholic beer will pave the way to drinking real beer. When someone hands them real beer at a party, they will already be used to the taste, and the moral objection is gone. (Well, I drink beer at home, this isn’t that much different.)
My mom let me and my sister and our friends drink it when we were 12-14 years old on new years eve. its no big deal. We’re not alcoholics because of it. Actu8ally, neither of us can stand the taste of beer and my sister doesn’t drink at all.
no way because then if i ever cort him with a real beer in a glass, how would ino that hes not lying about it and pretending its none alcoholic
I wont do that, bcoz, my children should not be given that freedom in that age, though the beer may be non-alcoholic but you allow her to drink a stuff called beer, tomorrow she may become alcoholic then the blame will go to you just as my cousin, who had a non alcoholic beer a day with me and one day when he was drunk he started blaming me that i had allowed him to drink beer for the first instance…this was unfair…so my advice is a strict NO…let her have with her friends but you shouldn’t allow her…Hope this helps…:)
Nope. Even “non-alcoholic” beer contains very small amounts of alcohol, and is illegal for those under 21 to purchase or consume (in the US, of course).
You don’t even have to ask, it doesn’t even contain any alcohol.
But honestly, I think it’s fine for parents to let their children drink alcohol under their supervision. I’m 15 now and my parents used to ask me if I wanted to have a sip of their wine during dinner, to which I said yes since I was curious about the taste. I wanted to know how it tasted so I took a sip, but it tasted really repulsive in a bitter way to me due to the alcohol in it so I never wanted to drink it again.
Now that I think about it, it was smart of my parents to let me try their wine since I have now lost all my curiosity about alcohol and I have no interest in it whatsoever. It’s only when parents strictly ban their children from trying it at all that they start rebelling by drinking alcohol outside with their friends and binge drinking. I’m not asking you to ask your son/daughter to drink alcohol, but don’t be strict about letting them try it as long as you’re around to supervise. If you educate your child about alcohol earlier, you can avoid having unnecessary problems related to it in the future.
Sure, I would. It is just like any other non-alcoholic beverage, so why not?
On the flip side, I live in a little country in Europe and a lot of parents let their children have a small glass of beer or wine with their lunch or dinner. Being American, when I first saw this I was shocked. Now I don’t think it is such a big deal after living here for many years.
No! not in the US.
No.
Non-alcoholic beer does contain a very trace ammount of alcohol. In the US, you are not allowed to serve ‘non-alcoholic’ beer to a minor.
