my son listens to rap and i don’t like all the violence in rap and they way they talk about women, drugs and so on. we had a bet that my son couldn’t find 1 country song that has all of those things in one song, well, some1 came across johnny cash (cocaine blues-i believe) well there is a part that i am saying has to do with paternity but my son says it has to with sex. if it has to with sex then he won the bet but if it has to with paternity then he lost. so what do ya think?

also is that song just as bad as rap or not
the only thing i know is that 2-3 songs that my son told me were innocent turned out to be not so innocent. for instance he likes that song something about inside peanut butter outside jelly and another song called zoom i think and neither one of those songs is innocent, maybe not all rap is like that but what the kids are listening to these days is talking about all of that
im not trying to stop him from listening to them, its just a debate we are talking about and i am just showing him the reason i don’t like rap for the most part
