mine died of cancer and blessed us with five small lots and an old mobile home. We live in this mobile now. My brother and his wife were infuriated and jealous and made it a point to hurt my husband and me in any way they could think of. They called CPS and accused my husband of molesting our nine-year-old daughter. (They were NEVER at our house!) My daughter was questioned by CPS and “they” determined that there was no evidence of molestation. DUH! We have grown sons and daughters and they were horrified that their dad and I went through this. This happened about two years ago, but it has come to my attention that this was kept in the files of CPS. WHY??? I am angry, upset, furious. No charges were ever filed against my husband. I am a stay-at-home mom. My husband works 12 hours a day in another town. He NEVER touched our daughter and never would. NO, I AM NOT IN DENIAL ABOUT THIS! Why does CPS keep something like this on record. What can we do? Anyone else had a similar experience?

Probably cuz if someone gets called on, and they go check things out and find everything seems to be okay, then they get another call from someone else, then they kinda have a little more alert (seeing that there has been a call before). It doesn’t mean you guys are in trouble. its kind of just there as a red flag warning in case some people get numerous calls. If someone is getting numerous calls, then CPS probably needs to take a deeper look into things. You should be fine. Good luck with things.

Hi there,

I am not sure who the CPS are but you should be able to gain access to those files from a freedom of information request. Tell your local member of Parliament that you want that information removed from those files. If the local member of Parliament can’t help you then there should be a department that will help you to clear that for you. You should also be able to see a Lawyer about changing those files to what is the truth.
I don’t know where you live so i can’t give you any source of information.
I would also look at getting my brother and his wife to see a mental health doctor because they might need to go to a mental health acute unit to see that they get the treatment they need.
