Ok, I’m going to be honest here and let you know this question did not come from my 5 year old son, but it is something he would probably ask at some point, so here it goes.
We don’t get ice cream as often as we’d like, since we both tend to binge on it, and afterwards, one or both of us get the urge to go.
So my question is, what is it that makes us go? I can drink milk and be fine, I can even binge on that or yogurt and not have to go as much as I do with ice cream, so what gives?
(ashamed at asking this, but they do say the stupidest question is the one never asked)
I suspected it was the dairy part of it, but neither one of us, me or my son, are considered lactose intolerant.
As I said, when we get the ice cream, we tend to over do it, but me, more so than him.
I suppose it’s something to ask my doctor about the next time we see her.
Sounds a bit radical, filmbuff, but I appreciate the opinion
I suppose it could be true the ingredient you mention causes my issue, but why only ice cream? I take Miralax once a day for a week, if I take more, it makes me sick, yet, when I eat ice cream, it takes mere hours for me to go. Weird.
