Aren’t toga parties always drunken brawls?

does your son like the idea? i personally believe the same thing the first person to answer this said. most toga parties are associated with allnight drinking and beer kegs everywhere. but if your son really wants i say go for it.

Toga, Toga, Toga…No-Go. Mixed messages. Animal House was nothing but a drunk fest, having a Toga party promotes the same behavior. I am not saying that for your son, but the idea that it may plant in the brain of some of his classmates with less than optimal parental guidance. Just something to consider.

I am actually turning 18 myself in a few days.
I think your idea is wonderful!
Of course there are going to be those kids who oppose going to a party without any alcohol, but honestly I think alcohol at every party gets old after a while.

I think if you put time and effort into making the party great, the kids will enjoy it. Many other parents just throw a small party with a couple 30-racks and expect the kids to have a blast (which gets dull).

As long as the music’s going and the food is good, the kids won’t even think about the beer they are missing out on!
