Her husband is truly a hard worker who is drug free and is a doting father. The problem and question is; my daughter steals and sells everything from the house that isn’t nailed down. This past weekend while talking with her son (our eight year old Grandson) he complained that mom sold his Shrek video (and others) that we had given him for his birthday and christmas. My question is: Since my daughter has been to jail twice (30 days or longer) over the past two years, with her husband recently out of prison (over a year free), and they both live with my daughters Mother, what can I possibly say or do to help this situation? Before you ask, the Mother is an enabler (she will stand by her kids no matter what). I know my daughter blames her husband for going to jail the first time, but this situation is so bad that the last time I visited I didn’t even go in the house, my interest is just providing some old fashion good guy for the kids. Any advice?

She’s had MANY sex partners, including several of his friends. He claims they didn’t have sex, just got each other off…whatever that entails…so could he have some STD that he could pass to our son via sharing the same drink or what not?
Our son is 5 & autistic so telling him to not drink after is dad is something I try to teach him, but doesn’t necessarily get through to him.

Even though I’m writing a dark fantasy story I need a few things from reality. The husband is an alcoholic and real heavy with prostitutes. The mother is lazy, uses drugs and wishes she had a daughter instead of a son. She dressed him up as a girl when he was young, hoping he’d grow up forgetting that he’s a man. The husband hates that his wife is turning his son into a sissy. But one night a neighbor calls the police because he hears yelling and crying and is afraid something is severely wrong. My question is what could the two be fighting about? Should the husband hit his wife or slap his kid? I’m already keeping with the wife being angry about her husbands affiliation with prostitutes. The kid is put into foster care.
I have a paternity suit pending against my ex fiance. Our child is 4 months old and he has never seen the child, called, asked for pictures, or anything. He abandoned me when I was 14 weeks pregnant and I haven’t heard from him since (well once when he was really drunk and threatening me). He is an alcoholic. He has a DUI on his record. He drinks 1-2 CASES of beer per night plus whatever whiskey he can get. Everyone knows he is an alcoholic. I don’t want him around my son until he is sober. But how do you prove in court that a person is an alcoholic? He lives three states away.
I asked my attorney and he just blew me off.
john, it’s obvious to me that you don’t understand parenthood or not. Visitation and child support are two separate entities in the eyes of the legal system. why are you answering this question when you obviously don’t know **** about legality?
my grandson is 21 years old and a 6 year meth user. We put him in one treatment center for 30 days and he came out great and a different person and stayed clean a week. He went to another treatment center for 3 months and came out great etc. clean 2 weeks. Went to another treatment center for 9 months and came home the sweetest kid you could ever hope for. Clean 3 weeks, It is split his parents home up, he has stolen everything that could be carried out even the family dog ( they did buy it back). He has nearly bankrupt my son and his wife and they are now split up after 23 years of marriage. He has no job as who will hire a druggie? If you can think of anything that we have not done please let us know. We have e mailed Dr. Phil and no response. We have e mailed Oprah, no response. Help
She left 3 times to be with him. Now she’s homeless, drunk, and stupid. She called to say she’d kill me if I took him(my grandson) away. Is there anyone besides Welfare associates that can help me get custody? He is in danger if he goes back. I want him to stay with me and be safe and happy. Does anyone have a friend with legal advice that won’t cost me a million dollars? Just tell me what court house to go to , (not Dover, Maine) to file a motion for custody. thank you ( a worried Nana)
Besides a restraining order what can be done? or what type of restraining order? he is a heavy meth user with all kinds of garbage and junk in her yard. He leeches off her for probation fees and takes her money. She is just puzzled and doesnt know how to treat her own grand son? Any ideas? Any answer is a good one here.. thanks…
I am baby sitting for my grand child who is only 10 months old. My daughter is lives in a apartment building where there are meth users in the building. Some of the neighbors are concerned about this including my daughter. It was reported to the land lord, but he does not seem to care. One of the meth users has mental problems including using meth. This woman has threatened my daugher and her child, my grand son. The police has ben called many times, but they fail to do anything about this. Another concern is that they will cause the building to burn down. Should I call someone in charge of drug inforcement? Any suggestions?
