the 27 year old has a BFA in illustration and the 29 year old has an AA in auto body repair. Both are good workers, never miss work, show up for work everyday on time and clean and sober, yet they get passed over for employment by addicts and alcoholics. They are out every day looking for work and up all night on the computer looking. And nothing is happening. The 27 year old has $50,000+ in student loans that he has defaulted on and is in a very deep depression because of it. Why can’t they find work?

Since before the baby and for the 14 months, I have been helping a lot….. I am the mother of the son…. She is a server, and 35, her ex boyfriend according to my son, broke up with her because of heavy drugs? My son told me this before he got together with her.. (Perhaps a year after she broke up with ex) A friend of hers told me she had been a heavy drug user when they lived together.. The question: I have been baby sitting while she went to work, at night, my son is also a server- After she started back to work about 3 months ago, she stayed out and did not come home till 3 in the after noon, I went over, as my son called me. When she comes home from work, she is smelling of alcohol. Then, last week, she did the same thing, but we were meeting at her mothers at 4 for a barbeque, and she said in front of her mother she had only got home at 3 in the after noon, her mother said nothing, so next day, I told her I was not able to stay overnight anymore at her place, as needed my sleep
and that gladly have the baby at my apt, condo, which I own, and have a babys bed , She said no, so it has been a week, she has not called, I told my son , I thought she was an alcoholic, and maybe even abusing drugs. Is once a user, always ,until one gets help, she baths the baby maybe once a week, the baby does not sleep in a crib, but in bed with her, and her clothes are all over the floor, for 6 months, I keep saying to my son, to do something about the mess. What do I do, Do I go to a lawyer, She is also on anti depressants for 10 years, my son is 30, and does not want to talk about it,,,,,
Her mother said nothing about her staying out all night. Also , the ex boy friend is hanging around when my son goes to work. My son is oblivous. He did tell me he pays all the bills, and she spends her money on her self. Does this sound like she set up my son to have a baby at 34(my son is 30) and he will be paying child support while she parties with her ex… should I or he see a lawyer, Do you see any concern? Drugs Her older sister just went to a rehab hospital for a year after spending 40, Thousand of her familys money, the sister is 40, HEr sister was using hard drugs, and has 2 boys 12 and 10,,, help , Am I over reacting? Should I stay out of it, but I have spent a lot of time with my grandaughter , and said to bring her to my condo, she said she does not want her to come to my place…. I have made it very easy for her…. I have done too much…… so now, should I see a lawyer about perhaps what i know,……..
So, my son should have to grow up, I agree, and hopefully he will let me know of any doubts , as he already has , hopefully my grandaughter will be walking soon, she is 15 months and not walking, any concerns I have my son filters me out,,,,,,thanks,

An illegal immigrant was free on bail awaiting a deportation hearing when he allegedly killed his teenage wife in Mahopac, a law enforcement official told The Journal News on Monday Paul Amay, 25, was detained by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents after his release in March from the Westchester County jail, where he had served four months of a six-month sentence for driving drunk with his infant son in the car.
Amay was turned over to immigration officials on March 22, then freed by federal authorities after posting bail.
The deportation hearing was to decide whether he would be sent back to his native Ecuador. His next appearance was set for late January.
Amay has been in the United States at least since 2004 and had been arrested in Westchester at least four times for drinking in public and once for disorderly conduct, authorities said. Police had also responded to several domestic disturbances between him and his wife, Graciela “Gloria” Zhingri Amay.
Amay was arrested shortly after noon on Nov. 21, 2009, in Ossining after he was seen driving erratically. Police found his 7-month-old son unrestrained in the car and Amay’s blood-alcohol level was 0.29 percent, more than three times the legal limit for driving while intoxicated.
The arrest on misdemeanor charges of DWI and child endangerment came just a week after Gov. David Paterson signed Leandra’s Law, making it a felony to drive drunk with a child in the car. Amay would have been the first Westchester defendant charged under the law, but it did not take effect until mid-December, so he only faced misdemeanor charges.
When ICE agents learned Amay was in jail, the agency issued a detainer warrant so it would be notified when he was eligible for release. An order of protection, meanwhile, kept him away from his wife.

This story is a little confusing so please try to bear with me. My husband and me were married over two years ago. He brought a daughter (who is now 15) who he has full custody of and I brought my two kids together and made a blended family. My husband’s ex-wife (my step daughter’s mom) had also remarried and had a six year old boy from her second marriage. One week before Christmas last years the ex-wife was arrested for manufacturing meth and DHS took her son an put him in an emergency shelter. Since my husband and me have full custody of his half sister and no one else wanted him the judge allowed us to become his foster parents and he lives with us. We found out this week (almost a year after this all started) that her rights have been terminated and DHS is starting the adoption process for him to be with us permanently. My question is how do you tell a seven year old boy that he will be grown before he sees his mom again and that he will be living with us from now on? He has not seen or spoke to her since she got arrested last December, she was out of jail till this past October when she was arrested again for falling to appear for her court dates. Thank you for any help you can provide.
He can’t see her, the judge said she is to have no contact with him period and that we would be held accountable if we let him see or talk to her.
