How Do I Get My Son Off Drugs?

My aunt is addicted to prescription drugs and has been for a while. She also has an eating disorder. She only drinks water and never eats. She is also addicted to smoking. She takes pain killers and morophene patches constantly. She doesn’t even need them but one doctor she goes to continues to prescribe them. He even knows whats going on. She gets so high on the pain killers sometimes she passes out in bed with a cigerette lit and she has almost burnt herself up multiple times. She gets so bad she can’t walk or talk she is so high on them. She don’t even know where she is and what day it is. I have suggested to my other aunts that we should do something but they say that the only person that can do anything about it is her son and husband (that is is seperated from). Her son is an alcoholic and doesn’t care and her husband would never say anything about what she is doing. I fear I am the only one that can help. Is there anything I can do to help her?

But when the kid is born he has cancer and he died his mom is crushed. But the father has no idea. So the father has been away from the girl who broke his heart and she misses him and is on her knees begging for him because he was everything to her. Well now the main character the father. Is depressd all the time hates his job his new girlfriend is mean and hates him and flirts around. he has no friends. One day he gets in a car wreck and dies. He wakes up in this afterlife and its so dark and he is alone. Well this elleven year old kid comes up to tell them if we travel to the other side we can get your soul back and you can start over. The main character ask the kid why are you here your a kid your happy you should be where its happy. The kid says im not happy i died at age 12 i had bad cancer my father left me and my mom cryed all the time. The main character realizes that thats his son. So towards the end he finds the soul but instead of taking it he gives it to his son. and his son gets to live happy and cancer free. But the main character gos to a afterlife where he can rest in piece. So what do you think? Also the main character gets hooked on drugs. there is no heaven or hell. But once the kid leaves what happends is that the main character just fades away as if he never exhisted. So how about that. And when the kid comes to life everything rewinds and the dr says the cancer is gone. So the main character gave his whole life for someone. even his afterlife even though he wanted happyness he found out seeing someone else happy would make him happy even though hed be forgotten

My son Ethan has finally agreed to attend a treatment program to overcome his crystal meth addiction. He experienced the negative effects of the drugs to his body and he realized that there’s still hope for a better life. I’m so happy that he’s taking this step into changing his life for good. Please help us find a drug rehab. I want to have the old Ethan back.

My son is addicted to cocaine and needs help before he kills himself. I don’t have the money to send him to a treatment center and wonder if there are ones that use sliding scale or free.

My 17 1/2 year old son takes many pills and smokes green. It may be screweing up his college opportunities, which is something he wants. He has a religious background but has chosen to be an atheist. He also has a high IQ and a fiance. Outpatient services didn’t work for him, but he did find a coke dealer in a weeklong facility (fortunately not a drug he uses).

My 18 year old son is addicted to crack cocaine. I have tried to watch him; tried threatening; tried cutting off communication; nothing works. He now has stolen from me and he’s sitting in jail. I know he needs treatment, but ppl are saying its a lost cause; some say there is hope and some say he will always use. Is there any hope for recovery? Honestly?

This is a sad situation, because I’m talking about my son. He is an alcoholic by every means of the word. Breakfast, lunch,and dinner is alcohol. He is in and out of jail constantly, but never for the drinking. He has blackouts, and doesn’t remember the things he’s done. He urinates, and drinks in public. He passes out in public. He can’t keep a place to stay, or a job. I have talked to him until I am blue in the face. He won’t stop drinking. Frankly, I don’t think he can. I’m afraid I will be going to his funeral in less than two years. He has been drinking heavily for 5 years. He is 31 years old. His mom and I are divorced. They both live in Charlotte, NC. Is there something we can do to maybe get a judge to order him to get help? Are there any sources in Charlotte that we might look into? I think he is unreachable at this point. He doesn’t care. He is slowing dying, and I tell him this often. I also let him know that I love him. Isn’t there any laws to protect someone from themselves?

My nephew is addicted to drugs and reciently signed himself into rehab. He is there for 14 days but feels that he needs to be in longer, but he doesn’t have insurance to cover the cost, where can he get help?
