I have a son who is 37 and does nothing but smoke weed and drinks all the time. He works and makes good money. He went to prison in 2003 because he was on crack. He got out and was living with my youngest son who is married. My son threw him out of his home because he got back on crack. He moved in with me because he had no where else to live. He was still drinking. He did finally get a place to live. He ended up seeing a woman who was married and has two children. She is finally divorced but she needs to get out of his life for good. She and my son started doing their weed and drinking all the time. The woman stays at my son’s home every weekend. They smoke pot in front of the two little girls and she also drinks and drives. I also know that she has the little ones in her car and they are not always fastened in their car seats. She was in a wreck 2 years ago and she was drunk. Her mother had her children. She came to my home to call her mother but didn’t tell that she was drunk. A few days later she shows up again with a nice car that her mom bought her. The woman gets food stamps and is selling them. She calls my husband and wants him to buy the food stamps from her. I won’t buy them. She is selling them for drugs and alcohol. I also called D.F.C.S. on her last month to turn her in. I had talked to a woman who gave me an 800 number. I almost didn’t do that. One of my friends had called me long distance and I had let her know what is going on with my son. She had let me know that she would have already turned the woman in. I don’t know what happened to my son but I’m not giving up until she is gone. He also had asked his step-dad for help in getting rid of the woman. If he won’t help then it is up to me to do it. How long does an investigation last until the woman is caught? I called the 800 no. on Nov. 25. My son also does not pay his rent and is getting evicted from his home. How long does an investigation take before something is done? Sorry if this is so long. This has really been hard on me.
I do not allow my son to use his drugs in my home and he does not live with me. Yes, I do know that the woman is selling her food stamps. I know someone who she wants to sell them to.
My pregnant girlfriend is a recovering meth addict that is doing very well with her recovery.Every single adult in her immediate family are meth addicts. We don’t like the thought of snitching but we tried everything else. We allowed her 19 yr old nephew and mother to move in because they were homeless under the terms that no drugs would be brought into our home.Despite our efforts we continuosly caught her nephew smoking ice in the basement and in the bathroom. He was meeting people down the street to buy and sell drugs. I tried talking to him about it but when that didn’t work I slapped him a few times and put him out for the night. We would’ve just kicked him out for good but his disabled grandmother who was staying clean would have left too and became homeless and strung out again if we did so.I was worried at work and scared in my own home cuz I never knew what was in it. I didn’t know what else to. We decided that turning him in would save his life. Are we wrong?
My son just turned 3 now. his mother, we werent married, has legal custody.i get him 12-14 hours a week depending what mood she is in. she is selling weed and cocaine from her home. I have talked to a couple of her siblings. who think she is using coke because she has been acting really weird toward them lately. what should i do? call child services? she hasnt had a job in years. she does do little side jobs for cash so she has little evidence of income but she lives pretty well for making less than 150 bucks a week. She just called and demanded i pay her money for a 1200 dentist bill that she wont show me. i have never been behind on support, ever. she didn’t bring him over sunday, visitation 9-5. her reason, he was up all night and went to bed at 6:30 am. this was the night that people at his birthday party said late night she was blowing coke. and explains why either she or him didnt go to bed til 630 in the morning. she just uses him to get to me and get what she wants. she does what ever she wants. how can it be legal. i need advice. please help.
I have 4 Sisters and I’m the only son and live nearly 300 miles from my Mother. She is 77 and befriends troubled people and drug addicts. Some have even taught her how to shoot her pain medications like Heroine into her veins. Now she is selling her (Dilaudid, Xanax and Morphine Patches) meds and I’m worried she may eventually get assaulted, robbed or even murdered.
I’ve confronted her before about her drug use that is supposed to be for pain, but, she is hard-headed and very difficult. I am a Disabled Veteran with a bad heart and M.S., and a Spinal Cord injury, and it causes me a lot of stress over this, but, I’m not sure what to do.
I know my Mother could be busted by the Law, and she could even be committed under an intervention, but, then she plays the Suicide Card. I feel trapped and damned if I do something and damned if I don’t.
I could really use and appreciate some thoughtful feedback on this! Has anyone out there been in this position before? HELP!
It’s starting to worry me..at first it was great until my little Garrett told me him and his friends were out busting peoples knee caps to establish themselves in a grown man’s world. how do i tell my son it’s wrong to have money women and power?

He has been assigned a pd, I can help him pay for a lawyer but he dose not want 1. Will I just be wasting money on a lawyer?
