We’re running on a tight budget, being that I don’t earn a lot and my husband got ill and we need to spend for his medication and other things. Now our son has a problem with his alcohol intake. We really need to get him treated as soon as possible, but our financial state prevents us from doing so. What can we do?
My husband just got laid off from his job, and we have to send our son to an alcohol rehab. My salary alone won’t be enough. I was just wondering if there are other alternatives? My husband is trying to find a new job, of course, but we want to be able to get our son inside rehab the soonest possible time, Any ideas?
I need to do this for a friend of mine who is asking for my help. She needs to find an alcohol rehab for her son. She was really shocked when she found out about her son being an alcoholic. I guess she just never thought that something like this could happen to her own son– who is a straight A student and a really good kid.
I have always held on to my principle not to have any vices. I stayed away from my friends when I learned that they were doing drugs. I did not hang out at bars or any alcoholics. I held on to my principle. That is, until a few months ago. A few months ago when my son died and I could no longer handle the pain. That’s when I started drinking like alcohol was water and I’d be dead without it. I want to get myself treated now, but how? Please help.
Even with my husband’s income combined with mine, we still can’t afford to send our son to an alcohol rehab, something that we really want to do. This is something that we never expected to happen, but I guess that’s the way it is with other parents as well. We’d like to know if any of you know how to find low-cost alcohol rehabs in or in close proximity to Aromas, California. Thanks.
I do know about N.A. but the thing is, I’ve already consulted a friend of mine who happens to be a doctor and he specifically said that N.A. should only be complementary to the drug treatment program. It’s my son who is drug addicted and we don’t have enough money to get him inside a drug rehab. What else can we do?
