drug tests? Also my 12 year old is on informal probation for shooting a BB gun obtained a surprise visit from his probation office who did a drug test – it came up positive for Amphetamines. My son doesnt do drugs but he is currently on Aderoll (spelled right) for ADHD. He has also BEEN on straterra, concerta and ritlin.
I lived in this apt for 4 months,had real strong odors and everyday there would be thick black dust on everything in my home. I was sick all the time,headaches,nervous,could not sleep,lost alot of weight. Urine test was positive for meth. I need case studies or anything to prove to authorites that i was not using. I never used the drug. I am a single dad sole caregiver to my 12 yr.old son.I need all the help i can get. I know chikdren in or around labs test dirty,why not me? I need to know where on the net i can find simular cases for reference. PLEASE HELP. GOD BLESS ALL
i need to find cases where this has happened to convince authorities that it is possible. Maybe other cases of false positives or studies. Please help,i am a single dad and sole care giver for my 12 yr.old son. I need help.
My fiance and I have been together for 2 years. He is the only father my 2 year old son has even known. Before we met he had a drug problem. He has been clean the entire time we’ve been together-until now. He started using again about 6 weeks ago and it has gotten progressively worse. He steals money, disappears for days, stole keys and money I had hid from him for his own safety. We went to NA and he liked it, but as the immediate regret faded, he lost interest.
He had an ugly childhood and has many unresolved issues with his feelings. This contributes to the problem. Things have happened recently that I think may even be causing a mild mental break and causing him to revert to disassociative coping mechanisms he developed as a child in addition to the drug use.
He’s a great guy when everything is going smoothly. I know he needs help, and I have tried almost anything I can think of. Does anyone have anything positive to say? Has anyone had a positive experience with drug recovery?

My son is only 15, I am terrified of him using such a drug. I only asked the question because of what he told me and I want to be able to trust he is telling me the truth. He is dating an older female and it makes me leery of really all his friends
I have been able to locate a list of all over the counter medications that will cause a false positive urinalysis for methamphetamines. I need to find a complete list of all prescription drugs, and any other household of farm products that can cause such results if they get into a persons system. This data may be the only thing that saves me from loosing custody of my son for something I have not done.
Just for those who have left accusatory answers, allow me to reiterate. I have not done drugs. I am asking this question because a false positive ua caused my son to go into Foster Care, and I’m trying to prove my innocence so he can come home. This bullshit caused me to miss his first b-day. So if you know of anything that may cause a false positive, let me know. I’m trying to compile a list of anything I may have come in contact with so the lab can cross check and prove my innocence.
I found a straw with white powder in it, in my son’s room. I took it to the police station and they said it tested positive for cocaine. The said it was slight but was positive. My son swears it was lortab. Does anyone know if this can be possible? Can it test positive for cocaine but not really be cocaine?
I put him in rehab the next morning.
