Ok I hv an ex that is the father of my son. Complete ass and an alcoholic to boot. i kicked him out after numerous time of drunkness and abusiveness. Yet it is still all my fault according to his family. His life is hell because I took everything away from him. I am the reason I got pregnant, the only one, I guess I impregnanted myself. Things were good for awhile until I filed for child support. Now he is pissed cause he has to pay legally for his son and things just keep getting worse. Today his grandma proceeded to tell me that I was irresponsible for getting pregnant and that I chase him. I only tried to contact him after I found out I was pregnant. So like I said he dose no wrong even though he wrecked my car while drunk and hit a couple of older ladies and left the scene of the accident. Then when he got home he assaulted me. But yet again it is all my fault. Please explain to me why it is never ther persons fault that does the actions?
Our son is 15 1/2, mother is bipolar, anxiety disorder, and add, father is alcoholic/anger managemnt issues. Our son was diagnosed with add when younger, he is struggling in school and wants to try something to help him concentrate. I am worried about the meds affecting his anxiety. How would you talk to somebody that is kinda an alcoholic with a son in jail and a younger son that is very misunderstood, talkative but quiet at times cause he feels people dont get him and really has no true friends. A father passing by his son’s bed room, was astonished to see the bed was nicely made, and everything was picked up.
Then, he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow.
It was addressed, “Dad.” With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter, with trembling hands.
“Dear, Dad. It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend, because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you.
I’ve been finding real passion with Stacy, and she is so nice, but I knew you would not approve of her, because of all her piercings, tattoos, her tight Motorcycle clothes, and because she is so much older than I am.
But it’s not only the passion, Dad. She’s pregnant. Stacy said that we would be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods, and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

A preacher in my town got busted recently using Oxycontin that was not prescribed to him, and there are rumors he is also addicted to meth.
A month ago, the SON of a POLICE CHIEF near my town was arrested in another state while purchasing heroin.
Why are people such hypocrites when it comes to drugs?
Instead of condemning drugs and drug users, why can’t they speak more honestly, and say something like,
“Well, drug use can be bad, and it can cause you medical problems. But drug users and addicts should be treated with compassion. Their problem is a medical problem, not a criminal problem.”
Why can’t we ever get that sort of sense out of these hypocrites?
My neighbor is asking me for help. Her son seems to have dual diagnosis and she doesn’t know what to do. He has always been depressed and now he’s taking alcohol too.
I remember when I was in Kindergarten my mom literally had to pull me off the pole because I didn’t want to go to class because I was afraid of other child. It kind of effected my whole life because when I was in school I never mad any friends. I was teased & taunted all the way up to High School so I decided to drop out of high school when I was in the 10th grade plus I started a new relationship (9 years ago) with my now husband but he is currently incarcarated & I think he might be Bipolar. I was diagnosed with ADD in the 7th grade. 2 years ago I was diagnosed by a doctor (for Child Welfare Services) because I have a bad temper which caused me to lose my son plus the lifestyle we live that makes me think my husband might be bipolar (he smokes crystal meth, uncontrollably spending habbits, can never hold a job etc….) any way like I was saying they said I had Anxiety, Depression & Borderline Personality but do you think my Anxiety could be Social? Can someone help me please?
My son is 24 years old and just graduated from university this summer. He has been living with me and the family for the summer while he gets ready to move to Europe. Since my ex husband was an alcoholic, my son eventually grew up to hate alcohol of any type and refuse to touch them. But it was never really bad until he came back home this summer.
We learned that he greatly looks down upon anyone who drinks. It get so bad that it got to point where my daughter once brought a case of beer home for her boyfriend, my son suddenly stop talking with her boyfriend and call him a low life and white trash and have threaten to hurt him a couple time. This was very scary since my son was a division 1 wrestler and is generally a rather shy and very humble so it was unusual. We can also see he lose so much respect for his sister. He has even gone as far as refusing to shake anyone hand if they’re known to be a drinker. He also has punched his own father just because he tried to get my son to go to bar with him.
Odd thing is, he had a couple friends from Europe coming over this summer and he has absolutely no problem with them drinking or going to bar with them at all. When I asked him about this, he say Americans who drink alcohol are a low life white trash who just want to get drunk and worship alcohol while Europeans just treat it like any other drinks and don’t act like a idiot about it.
This is making me very uneasy and it is hurting me that he’s like this. I can’t even enjoy a glass of wine without him giving me a dirty look and it is just ruining his relationship with his father, sister, and her boyfriend. Once he saw me drinking a bottle of corona with Mexican food and he was like “what are you doing” I tried to explain him I enjoy beer with Mexican food, he was like “you’re being an idiot” which hurt me. I’ve even caught him pouring out a bit amount of wine or any alcohol around house a bit at a time and warned him he’ll not be able to live here if I caught him doing that again. I and my husband aren’t a big drinker, we may drink only a glass or so once every month or so. My daughter’s boyfriend like to drink but he’s not an alcohol, he just like to have a couple beer after work or so. Yet my son cannot respect this at all. Then he turns around and has absolutely no problem with his European friends drinking beer.
Why is he like this? What can I do to fix this problem before he move? I don’t want him to leave on a bad term.

I have been with a man on and off. I believe he is back on meth, after 2 years clean. We were closer than ever. He included me in his sons life, his mom’s cancer, and was so loving. In my opinion, I do not feel sorry for people like this because it was their decision. There was this happy family with one son who was 15, but when the husband died, the mother became depressed and couldn’t work but they had money left for a period of time. So the mother gives the credit cards and debit cards to her son and says to take care of himself while I try to get better. The son starts doing cocaine and buying painkillers off the streets. (What surprised me is that this went on for four years.) So when the mother finds out that there is no money left to pay for the mortgage; shunconcious and calls the police. She tells the story about what happened and they go back and take the son because he was a junkie. So now the son is forced to live alone in a special psychotic home for people who are addicted to drugs.

You’re probably wondering how could a person find this funny. Well.. first, it is a sad thing, but again, the son used HER money on him while he could plainly see that the mother was sick and ill. I completely do not feel superior. I try to help the people I care about. But when they keep doing it and not learn their lesson, I just tell them, “Your problem now.”
