I admit I spent more time on the couch drinking than I did playing with my boy whom now is 12. I did still go out and play catch with him lots and watched all his sport games cheering from the sidelines. I went to all his school events, volunteered as a room mom etc.My husband divorced me because of my alcohol abuse. I am in treatment now. I call my son and his step mon says he does not want to talk to me then continues to hurl insults in such a cruel way. She even had my 83 year old dad that I live with because of his alzheimers crying!I have tried to reason with her through my tears that we need to talk and she just yells louder. I pray my boy is not able to hear her. Legally I have my boy on wednesdays plus my share of the holidays.Since to Christmases ago I have not seen my son. People tell me to get a lawyer but I have always been to emotional to stop my crying. I don’t want my son seeing this mess.I write my son every week or so with no response. My x says he does receive them

At first glance, strangers can’t tell that I’m disabled. My disability is not physical. Even after people know that I’m disabled, it is unfathomable how heartless & cruel they can be. “That’s not a disability!” or “You must have done something to deserve what happened!” I’ve heard just about everything you could imagine. I was diagnosed with Major Recurrant Depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. I was molested by a daycare provider for four years. I have been raped twice. Almost raped a third time, I was able to escape the last time. I was married to an alcoholic for fifteen years, he beat every chance he got. I hid what was happening to me, I was so ashamed. One day he put a gun to my head & said he was going to kill me… in front of our two boys… after he told me that he had been having an affair. I took my sons with only the clothes we were wearing & left. We never went back. Three years ago I had a break down after I was fired on Christmas day.

Please read story before commenting . A man convicted of raping a 15-year-old Glenwood Springs High School student on graduation night in 1995 has been sentenced to seven years in prison.

Javier Rojas Delgadillo, 33, received seven years in prison for a count of first-degree sexual assault. Two years of prison each for two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor will run concurrently.

Delgadillo fled to Mexico after being accused of the rape in 1995. His attorney, Ted Hess, said it was because he was not receiving “zealous” representation. Delgadillo came back several years later and worked using false personal information. Detectives discovered his identity after a bad reaction to cocaine landed him in the hospital in April 2006 and his fingerprints matched outstanding warrants. A jury convicted Delgadillo of the three charges in February.

Ninth Judicial District Judge Denise Lynch said the sentence would provide punishment, and also a chance for rehabilitation and treatment.

“Instead of facing the charges at that time, you absconded and went back to Mexico to avoid prosecution, and that is a fact that this court cannot ignore,” Lynch said.

About 10 family members and supporters of Delgadillo watched as he walked out of the courtroom Friday afternoon on his way to jail.

“Throughout the case they said the family has never felt sympathy for the victim,” said Mario Delgadillo, Javier’s brother. He spoke outside court through a female Spanish interpreter who did not want to be identified. “They do feel bad for her, but (Javier) has also been a victim to have this hanging over his head for 12 years.”

“They convicted me of a crime that I didn’t do,” Javier Delgadillo said. “It’s very difficult for me and my family. I have a son who’s 6 years old. He needs me.”

He had a photo of his son and what looked like a child’s colored picture to present to the court. Hess said the family plans to appeal the case.

Mario Delgadillo and Maria Delgadillo, Javier’s mother took the stand; they painted a picture of a hard working family who had come to America to better themselves. Maria and Mario are both American citizens, according to them and Hess, but Javier is not.

“I’ve never missed a visit with him,” Maria Delgadillo said. “My largest dream was to be able to have my son Javier get his papers.”

Javier likely faces deportation after his prison term, Hess said. Hess also had a psychosexual evaluator testify via telephone that Delgadillo poses a low to moderate risk of re-offense.

Deputy District Attorney Amy Fitch said the victim wanted the maximum prison sentence, but couldn’t travel here to testify because she was too distraught over the recent death of a sibling.

“Javier Delgadillo came to our country illegally without permission,” Fitch said. “He entered the home of a 15-year-old girl while she was asleep and alone.”

Fitch said Delgadillo awakened the girl, blindfolded her and brutally raped her.

“He left illegally while on bond,” she said, adding that the victim did not get any closure in the 12 years since the incident.

“It seems to me that Mom’s lessons about respecting women didn’t stick,” Fitch said, adding that Delgadillo was caught peeping on an aunt when he was 13 and would do inappropriate things to punish his wife when she didn’t want to be intimate with him.

Fitch argued that if Delgadillo didn’t get a prison sentence he would be immediately deported and would not seek sex offender treatment. She said he could then pose additional threat to the community.

“We know what he does,” she said. “He comes back here illegally, under a different name.”

Methadone and Harmd. Is Harmd doing more harm?
I am here to write my opinion on HARMD. This means; “Helping America Reduce Methadone Deaths”.
Although their intentions might be good or in their own mind considered good. H.A.R.M.D. is disseminating lies about the drug Methadone. A co-founder of this organzition experienced a horrible tragedy in regards to the admintration of this drug in a professional medical setting.

As the story goes this individuals loved one was addicted to Oxycodone. Upon seeking medical help for this, the Medical facilty gave this person Methadone in conjunction with a benzodiazepiene and this person tragically died as a result of this combination. A dangerous combination.

Harmd will tell you absolutely nothing positive about the drug Methadone. Instead of calling it Helping America reduce Methadone Deaths……… They should have called it; “Trying to ban Methadone in America”. That seems to me like their goal. And the fact is Methadone save lifes. It makes people that live in chronic pain functioning human beings again. It makes addicts live normal lives. Methadone is not a replacement for Heroin! IN other word’s Methadone clinics are there to help these people live normal lives.

Harmd’s claims on their video’s on U-tube openly admit that the onset of the rush of the drug is slow; (Thus sticking their foot in their mouth indicating the drug is used to obtain a high/hence obtaining it for illicit reasons)so the person takes more to get high and doesn’t realize a toxic level is increasing in them. METHADONE IS not to be USED to get HIGH or a rush! It is so easy to point the finger at a thing than a person. Methadone does not have a brain, it cannot control how and who or why a person uses it.

No one is going to want to admit their son died in a bathroom and was found with a syringe full of cocaine in his arm are they? No one would want to admit their son was a IV cocaine addict. But they can say Methadone killed their kid? Why? Because Methadone is FDA approved? Oxycontins ruined all of this. Oxycontins made regular pill users into full blown junkies. That is how Methadone just became a issue. Funny we never heard about Methadone deaths prior to 1998.

Number one; Methadone is a powerful synthetic opiate narcotic! The only people that have business with this drug are addicts that are going to addiction treatment or people that live in chronic pain in pain management. Methadone is not used to take if you have trouble sleeping! It is not used for a headache and it is not used as a spice in making meatloaf! Methadone must be used only by people that are qualified to take it. HARMD states it stays in your system a long time and or but it’s pain relief is only 4 to 6 hours.

THIS IS FALSE! Methadone’s analgesia threshold is 8 or more hours! Methadone has a 24 to 36 hour half life. This indicates that if you consume 10mg’s. Exactly 24 hours later you will have 5mg’s dormant in you. Thus if you want to maintain this 10mg a day dose, you take 10mg initially and than every day than and there out you take 5 mg’s! So on and so fourth. Again a person that is not prescribed Methadone for pain or does not get it in an addiction treatment scenario HAS NO BUSINESS WITH IT! Giving this to a non familiar user that is only using it for a stupid reason is like giving a blind person glass in their dinner. JUst say no to drugs!

True facts on Methadone:

Methadone is the most sctrunized drug on the planet. No drug , not one in the history of the world has gone under the scrutiny that Methadone has. The drug has been in use since perhaps the mid 60′s and this drug has a proven tried and true list of positive virtues in regards to long term effects on the body and almost has a explanation and theory on every dosaging protocol that has ever existed on the planet. I don’t believe there is a single case of anyone being allergic to Methadone.

All opiates have long term effects on the body. There is nothing but overwhelming evidence that indicates that Methadone is the lightest on all the organs compared to any other opiate. It is the long half life which does not give the body time to recover throughout doses is what I believe makes it the harshest in this aspect.

All opiates impede vitamin and mineral absorbtion. Methadone is not excempt from this and because of it’s long duration on visiting the body, mineral and vitamins should be used as a supplement. There is not a single drug on the planet that is as healthy as drinking milk or as healthy as eating a apple a day. Eating a bag of Potato chips everyday may actually be worse for your health. The FDA does not tell you the long term effects of MSG to readily. Or the stuff they put in a Big Mac.

Methadone is the flattest hitting opiate on the planet. In other word’s it maintains a constant blood level throughout a 24 hour period. This is what makes Methadone such a miracle drug for addicts and pain management people. But it is this virtue that HARMD claims it is so dangerous. This is the a paradox of their thinking.

Where conventional opaites hit high and rapidly drop, Methadone does not. Therefore a person that is taking conventional opiates for pain eventually will end up abusing them to chase blood levels to keep an existing happy mood in check. This is a real thing that is going on in the brain and it is not in a person’s head. So instead of taking more medication for pain relief, they are taking more to keep their mood in check and not pain control. This inadvertantly results in tolerence to the drug very quickly and non-delibarate abuse. With Methadone this is almost non-existant. It is a superior pain reliever by this virtue and dosing twice a day is almost always considered effective as compared to 4 times or more a day by a conventional opiate.

It is this aspect of Methadone that also of course makes it a choice for addcition treatment. It keeps the person in check throughout the entire day (Not needing more and more of the opiate) and cancels the so-called mental cravings a opiate addict gets.

Methadone in a pain scenario is also a opiate that keeps opiate induced hypersensitivity down to a low. All pain people in time will experience this and it either can be considered a form of withdrawal as more opiates are administered or break-thru pain. Since Methadone maintains a flat blood level and keeps pain receptors filled constantly, this phenomenon is greatly reduced. There are some claim that Methadone does not create opiate induced hypersnsitivity. I think it does and will but the effects are far less apparent.

Methadone is the simpliest of all opiate molecular structures.

Methadone was developed in Germany (I.G. Farben) under the direction of Herman Goering in mid 40′s as a substitute for morphine. It was never intended at the time to be used in opiate addiction. It just happened that way.

People in pain management that obtain Methadone for pain are readily sterotyped as ex Heroin addicts because of Methdone’s use in addiction centers.

Fact: A 40mg Methadone pill( Wafer) was as large as a quarter. And it is thick as two on the eges and in the middle as thick as three quarters stacked. If someone gave you a pill the size of a quarter and told you it was an aspirin, would you be a little apprehensive about it? It was perhaps one of the largest pain pills ever produced and as a aspirin in this form this would be perhaps be a 4,000 MG aspirin? Just saying.

The size alone of the 40mg pill should have been a deterrant from anyone abusing it. The truth is, you would have difficulty placing the entire thing in your mouth and swallowing it whole. It was also serated into four sections, not half but quarters. Thus indicating a quarter of the pill could be taken, but people that decided to abuse it, and took the entire thing anyways? Knowing it could be broken in fours? 40 Milligrams are no longer made however the 10′s are. The company makes very small 10 mg pills and by eliminating the 40 they should make the 10mg just as large to indicate it looks strong? Who knows. For 10mg’s of Methadone is strong!

Fact: 10mg’s of Methadone is approx. 100 Milligrams of Morphine. Now this varies in IV and other routes of administration how it is metabolized, but for a standard equal it holds primary true. Methadone in a pain scenario prescribed 5mg’s a day for three days, than 10 mg’s a day for three day’s and so on (Until determined the level of pain it is controlling) will never represent a problem with the patient. This patient must be simply monitored to see how they are reacting to the medication as far as fatique, lack of motor coordination, mental awareness for a two week period. The patient decides how they are reacting to the medication. Than they can safely be on the a stable dose of Methadone which is superior in pain control versus anything else.

Methadone should not be mixed with alcohol at all! Methadone should not be mixed with any type of Benzodiazepiene.

Methadone does not induce “Sleep Driving” like Ambien does.

And last HARMD is so quick to indicate that pain patients use Methadone because it is cheap. They say “Cheaper is not always better.” What an crazy statement. I never heard that before. Since when is anything cheap ever better? I think they made it up. Don’t better things cost money? Explain that to me?

BUT! Methadone as bought as a illegal drug on the street is anything but cheap! Not in the least. It is just as expensive as everything else. Again it should never be purchased illegally! That solves that problem. Say no to drugs. The only way to obtain it cheap is legal. Methadone treatment in clinic’s is EXPENSIVE not CHEAP either. So I have no idea what they are talking about. So people that used it, abused it and died, did not pay pennies for their death but high dollar like everything else. And it is cheap. So what? I am a pain person that didn’t have insurance, that was a blessing. HARMD could care less about that! Stating that Methadone is cheap as bought from a genuine prescription was a dumb thing to put in their arsenal. So what? It again is not cheap on the street or from the drug dealer on the corner.

What are my sources? I am a extensive researcher on opiates. I weaned off of 200mg’s of Methadone a day as precribed for pain in 3 months and had them in my hand. I been researching opiates for 10 years and was a legally prescribed user of the,Give me any question on any opiate. I will give you an answer. Not a lie.

one of my sons has already been coerced into stealing for his moms, cousins, aunts drug habits. The police are involved and even social services, juvenile services and schools have been notified. I am trying everything i can do to get my children (twin boys age 15) out of this environment and now this family is talking about moving and taking my children with them as things heat up. Any group that i have not thought of or that i could contact to help expedite this from happening would be great information.
I am the father and i have already contacted social services and juvenile service. I have not contacted a lawyer because i can not afford one.

I know that a lot of innocent children are harmed during the making of coke, but to think that cocaine is getting profit out of their teeth is just wrong and makes my feet warm. How are we supposed to protect our children if propane is making profit out of both cocaine and coca cola and the only ones to thank for gas is the children? I’m assuming this is why we’re supposed to tell our kids the tooth fairy exists, so we can give their teeth for coca cola’s cocaine, but how do they get it? I guess the general question is me wondering if cocaine is made out of children’s teeth and if this can be prevented by telling them the truth about the tooth fairy. My son is fifteen now and I think he’s getting suspiscious, I had to take him out of school because his friends were telling him that the tooth fairy wasen’t real, and I’m not going to let my bills pay for what cocaine is doing to our children!

This is for all the parents out there who don’t want Coca Cola being the new Google!

By now it was eight o clock, paparazzi were outside the queens park palace waiting for Lewis Carters to arrive at the conference. He would often do this to build suspense in the atmosphere and get all the people from his home town, Brooklyn, to cheer him on when he got there. James Husky was already in the building., he was Lewis Carters opponent and is the heavy weight champion. He has been fighting professional for 25 years and has been undefeated since he had the belt- he has had eight fights since he had had won the title and has either knocked his opponents out within the first two rounds or they have got so hurt in the fight from his deadly combinations of punches that the coaches and trainers have thrown in the towel. It was going to be the best fight since Muhammad Ali and Joe Frasier fought it out in the famous fight known commonly as the gorilla in manila. Husky was a fairly tall man with a muscular build, he had a very quick reacting mind in the ring, he was a powerful puncher and the unordinary thing about him is that he can fight either orthodox or southpaw stance in the ring. He was given the nickname James the power man Husky after knocking Fredson juniour out in the 2nd round with a lethal uppercut which knocked one of fredsons moulders out of his mouth blood was all over the ring and it was classed to be one of the most memorable fights in history. What made it unordinary was this was when he was in the cruiser weight and the power of the punch was the equivalent of Geroge Foremans awesome hooks.. James always stay focused on the aim of the fight which is to win and that integrity and spirit has won him most of his fights. A characteristic which made him stand outside the ring was that he was very crotchety this was also the case after his fights and in public. Whenever he was victorious over one of his fights he would always end up yelling at a bewildered reporter who he would end up either pushing onto the floor. Even though he was like this, it was what made him entertaining to watch and he is known to have one of the most amazing attitudes to live. In the conference room Husky was wearing an black swage suit with a black striped shit and blue aqua coloured tie, he was sitting in there patiently waiting for the conference to progress.
While James Husky was inside sitting on lined table on the right side of the room sipping his glass of squeezed lemon, loud chaotic noises were coming from outside. Husky got out of his Brown leather chair and looked outside the window and developed a tormenting smile. Outside was a large Grey gold plated 550 Ferrari Maranello, it was being blocked by a crowd and the car was unable to move forward so it pulled to the side of the curve and stopped. The passengers door was opened and Bobby Norton approached onto the road. Bobby Norton was Lewis Carters promoter and had been his promoter for years. He was experienced at what he did and was also a promoter of other great fighters like Ben Gills Olympic silver medallist in welter weight and also Benvollio Dulcet heavy weight champion from 1997 to 1998 however he was less popular when he was defeated by “James the power man Husky” in 1998. Norton was a very popular man also known for when he used to be a entrepreneur for many successful training businesses located all over the States and Europe however he gave all his businesses to his oldest son Thomas Norton mainly due to being so busy in his promoting work. On the other hand nobody really cared about his career professions just cared about him being a good looking multi millionaire mainly because of the many privatized companies that he owns. Which could be anything leisure companies, electronics or even a broad way drug racket for a mob living in little Italy but who knows nobody really tried to get on his bad side in public and in the media, due to the several people who have crossed him in their lives have received extra attention from his body guards which isn’t a pretty site.

O.k. here we go…This is really hard for me but I need help. I’m 23 years old, my husband is 26, & we have an 8 1/2 month old son (my world). My husband has always been a pretty heavy drinker but we’ve been together for almost 6 years & I was so young when we 1st got together that I didn’t care or even notice that much because I drank back then too. Anyhow, he got 1 DUI/DWI when we first started dating & I just let that one go…he got charged with that one. He almost got another one (a few years later) when he got mad at me one night & took off…paid a lawyer & beat it (never went on his record) but by this time I’ve realized he has a problem & at first I didn’t know how to deal with him. I’d rant & rave, scream & yell, cry & fight with him…to no avail. I couldn’t understand why “we” as his family were not enough to just make him quit. Did he not love us like we loved him? Should I honestly try to get him to change? What’s wrong with me? Is he gonna screw up again & cost us more money? All of these questions ran through my head day after day…I have become his “enabler” & am “codependent” on him–I know this in my heart because I find myself trying to help him weasel his way out of things to save us money or for him to keep his license (the 1st DUI is off his record & he got his CDL’s & began driving a truck…his supposed dream job) Like just last week, he got charged with another DUI (on a friggin’ 3-wheeler this time) & if he does happen to get out of this one & manage to save his license he will still be forking out hard earned money (around $4000) for a good lawyer who can help him. So, I left…I took my son & we moved back in with my parents. I told him when he decided to get help & straighten out his life for “himself” — that I may come back. If not, after awhile, I’ll divorce him & find somebody that can make me happy. I do love him, don’t get me wrong, with all my heart & soul. I’d walk to the ends of the earth for him but I know that I am also “weak” against him because I love him so & just want him to do better. My question that I need some help with is “Do you think I should stay away from him completely (as far as me, not his son; I can’t keep him away) or should I include him in some things (family events), go to dinner with him, a movie or something, & go back to my mother’s house…no overnight stays & only every now & then to give him some sort of incentive or hope that he has a chance to possibly get his life back?” He’s stayed sober for months at a time but he’s more of a binge drinker…when he does it, he does it big. He’s starting AA on his own for the first time tomorrow & I’m going to start Al anon just in case he’s too far gone & I have to divorce him–I can deal with it better. That’s the last thing I want but I have to do what’ s best for my son. I guess I just feel so bad because I love to be around him sober (we’re perfect, so to speak) & going from seeing a person everyday of your life pretty much to not seeing them at all is drastic & just as heartbreaking as being with him. I’m going to stick to my guns & stay at my mother’s just to see what he’s going to do on his own but I just wanted to see what someone else thought about basically just “dating” until he either proves to be one thing or another…I know nothing else to do because even though he’s done some stupid things & I think he’s just ignorant at times my heart longs for him. He’s not verbally or physically abusive, he does work everyday, he’s a very active person, but he’s still young, too. I guess he’s what you call a functional alcoholic (from what I’ve read) The only thing we’ve ever really fought about was “his drinking or something to do with drinking” I used to drink with him but not anymore, I just don’t desire to after all I’ve been through with it. I don’t want my son growing up to think that its o.k. to drink all the time & he’s got his options–he can take ‘em of leave ‘em. Tell me what ya’ll think!!

Ok here is the deal, I have a 29 month old son and a 9 month old daughter. Their doctor is the same doctor that I had as a infant. I think he is stuck back in that time. No matter what my children’s symptoms are he always tells me to put 4 drops of saline nose drops int heir noses and mix 1 teas. lemon juice, 1 teas. honey and half a cup of warm tea. Then it takes them weeks to get better. My son also has very bad wax build up and we use debrox like the doctor tells us to but it don’t get any better. He is also always lecturing us on smoking, neither me or my fiance smoke in the home when the children are awake and when they are in bed on the second floor we smoke downstairs with the window cracked. (please no lectures people) I have asked the doctor about how my son only says ~ mama, dada, papa, no, yes, go, alone, come on(more like mon) and very few other choice words once in a while and he tells me its fine he is only 2 in a half wait til hes 4 to tell if theres something wrong. and what do i do to help him he wont sit and play with flash cards no matter what games i play he will only do it for 5-10 minutes then hes done. HELP PLEASE
