My son and his friend smokes marijuana in my guest house?

I purchased my home in December 2008. It came with a Guest house. I was very happy to have this guesthouse because I wanted to rent it out to my son for 400 dollars a month. It’s very nice and fairly new. I also need to add that I live in San Diego California where the cost of living is pretty high.
Before I moved my son in I set down some ground rules. I told him that I am moving him into the house so that he can get himself established. He is to work, go to school and not do drugs. He agreed. I am 6 years clean from drugs and alcohol and I refuse to let anyone take away my sobriety. I drug tested him and he came back clean.
Since he has been living with me he has paid a total of 500.00. He paid 400 dollars in February, 100 dollars in March, and nothing since. I was starting to get a little concerned. He hasn’t started school and he is hardly working.
This past weekend I was in New York and his girlfriend called and told me that my son and his friends are in the guesthouse smoking marijuana. She told me that they always do it in the house when I go away for the weekend. She also told me that when I tested him he had purchased some synthetic urine from the smoke shop and that is why he came back clean. I came home and confronted my son (not telling him where I got my information). I asked him to leave my home by July 4th weekend. He agreed that it was time seeing that he is 23 years old and he needs to move on. Do you feel that I gave him enough time to leave? Also, do you think that there is anything that I should have done differently? Thank you in advance for your answers.

I have found a small zip lock bag with marijuana in my teenage son’s room? i never experienced marijuana in the culture i was growing up in but i have done some research and it doesn’t seem much more harmful than alcohol and i surely don’t want to take away from his highschool experience. Hes doing well in school so the possibility of a drug addiction isn’t a big concern of mine. Thoughts or suggestions?

Details (If you care): Okay so, my friend wanted to get high, and this trailer trash ************, who claims to be the Zodiac Killers son, says that he can clean her pipe out w rubbing alcohol, put the stuff on a plate and when the rubbing alcohol evaporates from the resin that they can smoke it. Is that true? bc I told her that I will buy her an 8th and soak it in rubbing alcohol, and then we can let it evaporate, we’ll roll a blunt/ joint and if she smokes it and doesnt get sick, then I’ll pay her 100.00

Is there marijuana in chocolate?

The woman who runs my son’s independent (i.e standalone) prekindergarten class refuses to let any of the children eat chocolate. She says it is made with marijuana and marijuana like chemicals to make kids food addicts.

I prefer to let my kids eat mostly fruits if they want a sweet, but still this bothers me.

And what ive read in a journal online seems to confirm what she said about marijuana in chocolate.

Is it true or is it like Coca-Cola, where they use the cocaine plant to flavor it but remove the cocaine first?

I used to smoke till april’2009 regularly. But for personal problem i quite . Now for visitation of my son they want to test my hair. My problem is I am a musician and i have very long Hair. How long these drugs will stay in my hair or my Body. My son is 13 and he has already smoked pot. Now he got a back injury and when he stands up for a while his knees crack. So he is all depressed now that i caught him. So he told me about it so i am looking for a solution so my son can actually live without pain every day. We live in ILLinois and are they making weed legal in ILLinois 2? It seems to me that through friends’ experience, marijuana has done much less harm than nicotine and alcohol has on their lives. I don’t smoke marijuana myself…but my belief is that the law shouldn’t get involved in anything that people want to do as long as it doesn’t directly hurt other people…and no parents being sad about their son/daughter smoking pot doesn’t count as being directly hurt.

stoned, per what my kid tells me. I know his mom, and supposedly she’ll be really angry with him if she finds out, but, she needs to intervene instead of being so concerned about her boyfriend and her. He’s 15, her son. My kid doesn’t want me to tell on his friend or to speak to his mom because then he’ll be angry with him and the boy in question is losing his close friends. But, he needs help and I don’t want him getting other fellow teens hooked on the stuff. What are my options? Are there anonymous teen drug intervention services that I can call to get him help since his mother is oblivious to the situation? He’s getting the drugs from a fellow kid at school that is known as a ‘pot head’ that he’s recently been hanging out with and also from an older person at his mom’s boyfriend’s house. We’re in Santa Clara County, Calif.
