A movie about an abusive father (I think he was an alcoholic) who had two sons, he use to hit one son and favored the other one. One day the older brother (I think he was the oldest) had enough of his father hitting his little brother that together they decided to construct an airplane and at the end of the movie they “flew” (ran) away.

In my opinion, I do not feel sorry for people like this because it was their decision. I do not want to be a hypocrite but if they are my family or close friends; I do feel sorry for them and try to help them, but when I/we try to help consistently over and over, I start losing that feeling and I’ll just tell them, “Go f*ck yourself.”

There was this happy family with one son who was 15, but when the husband died, the mother became depressed and couldn’t work but they had money left for a period of time. So the mother gives the credit cards and debit cards to her son and says to take care of himself while I try to get better. The son starts doing cocaine and buying painkillers off the streets. (What surprised me is that this went on for four years.) So when the mother finds out that there is no money left to pay for the mortgage; shunconcious and calls the police. She tells the story about what happened and they go back and take the son because he was a junkie. So now the son is forced to live alone in a special psychotic home for people who are addicted to drugs.

Now my question is: do you find this story sad or funny?
You’re probably wondering how could a person find this funny. Well.. first, it is a sad thing, but again, the son used HER money on him while he could plainly see that the mother was sick and ill. That is the funny part. How a person could do something stupid while they know that if they do that, they are hurting them more.
This 19 year old is a retard in my book.
I would also appreciate answers from people who have experienced this. Feel free to share any experience also.
I completely do not feel superior. I try to help the people I care about. But when they keep doing it and not learn their lesson, I just tell them, “Your problem now.”
They have made a wrong choice. But I am 100% sure that they have seen and know what it can do, but are still to naive and stubborn to try it.
he should fake an illness to get out. Well, he and his girlfriend broke up a few weeks ago and he seemed depressed. She contacted us today and said he tried to kill his self and is in the hospital. They found cocaine and ecstacy in his blood and I’m thinking he did this deliberately to get discharged from the army. When he and his sister were younger, they had to live with us due to their Mom being incarcerated. I told my husband at that time his son needed counseling . But the son said he was ok, but I knew better. So all this time he has been having issues that finally came out. What should my husband and I do to show him were here for him? He is in New York and were in SC.
I know that a lot of innocent children are harmed during the making of coke, but to think that cocaine is getting profit out of their teeth is just wrong and makes my feet warm. How are we supposed to protect our children if propane is making profit out of both cocaine and coca cola and the only ones to thank for gas is the children? I’m assuming this is why we’re supposed to tell our kids the tooth fairy exists, so we can give their teeth for coca cola’s cocaine, but how do they get it? I guess the general question is me wondering if cocaine is made out of children’s teeth and if this can be prevented by telling them the truth about the tooth fairy. My son is fifteen now and I think he’s getting suspiscious, I had to take him out of school because his friends were telling him that the tooth fairy wasen’t real, and I’m not going to let my bills pay for what cocaine is doing to our children!
This is for all the parents out there who don’t want Coca Cola being the new Google!

its so bad. when i heard it i was eating pop rocks. i went to throw them away my son asked what i was doing i said i was throwing them away he asked if he could have them i said no it mite be a drug he said like crystal meth i said yes like that i found out that his teacher was teaching him about that in 1st grade.
what do i do? he sayshe doesnt feel good at all and his hands are cold and hes really sweaty.
my son’s father is a pathalogical liar and uses his children as pawns in his chess game of…getting attention from women, lying, cheating, etc. he’s has a serious selfish problem. he and i were together for six years and in those six years he subjected his children to at least 2 other women and their kids. Now he’s attempting to subject my son to his “new” girlfriend who he met in AA. she’s a pediatric nurse mother of three and a Narcotics Addict. the last girl he cheated on me with thought he lived alone and had this little old dog, for a year he lied to her and continuously took his three kids (one of them, my 3 yr old son) over to her house. While in wal-mart one day, his oldest son, Jamesy asked him, “Daddy, why do you lie to lizzy about where we are going? Daddy why do you live with lizzy when you are seeing Dawn” he told jamesy, “i promise james, i’ll quit cheating on lizzy” at the same time he was buying flowers and asked jamesy to give them to dawn so it looked less romantic and cuter. she bought it. she and i met when he finally checked into detox. Alcohol is just one outlet of his manic ways. he’s up right now and living in vegas “acting” like he’s a changed man. But he’s left two voicemails in the last week and i can tell he has been drinking again. he’s now got his new girlfriend harassing me over texts. i want him to have “supervised” visitation if any at all. right now his eldest son is in counseling at school. he’s 9. he has panic attacks over his dad. he loves his daddy but his daddy has asked him to lie and keep quiet about where they go etc. he’s tells a good lie. i’m afraid the mediator will give him unsupervised visitation when he comes to visit from vegas. we’re in illinois. what are the chances that i can prove he subjects his children to immoral situations. what do i have to do to get my ducks in a row to prove his judgement is impaired. do i need statements from past women, his ex-wife, his eldest son’s school counselor? right now it just looks like we’re all angry women. but i’m trying to protect my child from being hurt like his eldest brother is hurting. HELP.
