friends son was arrested in colorado for underage drinking. he was taken to the emergency room to get medical clearance for being so drunk. the sheriffs office stated they are not responsible for the bill. i disagree because the s.o. took him to remove their office of any liability and this decision was theirs since he was in their custody. any info?
My son was arrested when he was 17 for breaking and entering with fear. We live in Massachusetts. He served sometime in juvenile detention and was placed on probation. While on probation he was caught in school with 20 dollars worth of cocaine. This time they took him to adult court. His juvenile probation officer informed him that he was going to surrender him, but before his probation officer surrendered him, he left to live in Ohio with his dad. My son is now 18 and wants to come back to Mass, and wants to know can the juvenile system still make him do time for violation of probation or will he just have to deal with the adult court for the new charge
He lost his cusines to foster care , his drug addict mom came back into his life and then in feburary of 07 his dad (who is biologicaly his grandfather) died. I know he is not a bad kid. The life he has had would be hard for an adult to cope with . he is doing what he feels he has to to survive. I need to know how to help him .there is alot more to his story i could right a novel . but any suggestions would help and please dont condem him . thats part of the reason he is where he is now .
he was not born to be bad
my parents adopted him from my sister they have had him since birth his real dad wants nothing to do with him
My 17 1/2 year old son takes many pills and smokes green. It may be screweing up his college opportunities, which is something he wants. He has a religious background but has chosen to be an atheist. He also has a high IQ and a fiance. Outpatient services didn’t work for him, but he did find a coke dealer in a weeklong facility (fortunately not a drug he uses).
