I love my son more then anything, but I need a night of fun! Before I do this I need to know how safe it is. First I already know that I wont be breastfeeding at all during and the day after. I will suplement with formula. Plus I have a breast pump, so I can pump and then throw the milk away. But how long does alcohol stay in your milk? I want to to make sure its safe before I do anything.
by the way I wont have the baby with me when Im drinking!
If you are gona diss me for asking this then please dont answer! All I want to know is how fast the alohol will get out of my system so I can nurse my baby safley

Im thinking about giving my son nonalcoholic beer in his lunch bag when he goes to school. The only rules it says about alcohol is nothing with alcohol is permitted and nonalcoholic beer has no alcohol in it.
so vanilla extract would be illegal for a kid to consume since it has alcohol in it?

Ohio is one of the states that allows underage consumption with the presence of a guardian/parent. I know this is true for the home but am unsure about the public.

Is it allowed for a parent to buy his or her son an alcoholic beverage in PUBLIC? Say at a restaurant or sporting event? As long as that can be proven? Im having trouble finding documentation for that.

My sons have to go stay with their dad for a month during the summer and while he was there in July my son said his dad went and bought a lot of beer and they sat and drank it one night….my x is not being a parent and i think this is some kind of abuse…my x even knew about my son drinking at a friends this weekend and didn’t even call and tell me about it. My son said he told his dad and his dad said “just don’t do anything crazy”…i had a police officer come and talk with my son and explain the consequences and i hope it helps…but i don’t know what to do about this x…my son hates me because i have rules…i don’t want my son to grow up being a alcoholic like his father. And my son is very hateful toward me, because he says all i do is harp. And he gets mad and very physical..i told him i would take him to therapy but he said if i tried it he would just run away.

My native-German husband is 36, six foot, and weighs 270 lbs. He has high BP and is pre-diabetic. Five years ago when we were engaged, he was 190. He cooks and eats what he wants, drinks about 4 to 6 drinks an evening – up to 18 drinks on a weekend day. He has food binges late at night while watching violent movies after I go to bed. When we got married, my impression of him was of an active, outdoor kind of guy who was into lifelong fitness. Not one to nag, I’ve recently tried to be helpful with, “I love you and want you to be well”, do it for our son, healthy food suggestions, be inspired by his father’s own efforts, enlisting help from his brother as a ‘gym buddy’, trying to do active things together, modelling good behavior, etc. Zip. BTW, I’v also asked him to get help with his drinking and he insists he doesn’t have a problem. At a rough spot in our marriage, I tried ultimatums. Funny thing, he also makes fun of other fat people we know and of me doing yoga. HELP!
