I left my partner 2 years ago when my son was 4 years old, his dad saw him as and when, always said too busy with work, i get minimal maintenance. When my ex does pick him up he always smells of alcohol and appears drunk to which i say he cannot take him, especially as he is driving. Recently he has a new girlfriend who he has only known for 3 weeks and my son was due to go on an overnight stay but i stopped this because my son did not know this person and to be honest how can my ex know her. My partner says what he does in his house with his son is his business and not mine, need to mention my son is autistic, but i pointed out that when he has slept over before my son always ends up in his dads bed and i asked what would happen if he wanted to do that again, he replied well i’ll let him come into bed. My son also comes back from his dads saying that he calls me names and his half sister who is 21 slags me off as well, my son says he doesn’t want to see him, can i stop him going.

I live in Missouri, I have a 14 month old son with my ex. As of August we have a 50/50 custody arrangement. 3 days after we signed the agreement, my ex has started neglecting our son. He is a sociopathic alcoholic My son comes back from his care with dried food on his face and body, dirty and too small clothing,dog hair on his binkies and face, and smells horribly. My son also has asthma and he has refused to give him his medication as needed. He “self diagnosed” my son, and often realies on his brother who is an M.D. for medical advise rather than calling our sons pediatrician..I have a daily log I keep,pictures, video tape, clothes, and binkies with dog hair on it that I have saved. Most recently he attacked me at the police station with my son in his arms..they have that on tape, and our court date is next week. this is his 2nd assault towards me, both with my son present. first one was dropped, per my former lawyer, saying in order to presue child support i would need to drop it , and ask that the restaining order be lifted. DFS is currently doing an investigation on his father. He has left my son home alone while walking the dog in the front yard, has taken him out in the rain with no hat on to walk the dog..lives in a home with a 30 year old furnace and refuses to change the filter..all of which could be contributing to my sons breathing problems, i have asked and asked my ex what the hell is going on at his house, and all he says is “i deny your accusations”..he pays child support, and we share custody yet he feels i am responsible for new shoes and coats etc…he returns my son in the same clothes as dropped off in because he is tired of hearing me complain, yet those clothes are not washed and smell horribly. We have a pending Motion to Modify court date with a new lawyer I hired, also he is filing an emergency PDL next week. This is one horrible thing after another. I have refused to hand him over on his days on several occasions because he has refused to answer my questions as to how he is being cared for, or if he was sick etc. I have finally had it as of today, he shows up at the doctors office and lies to the doctor about the care he is giving our son…which i have proof of..hes more than happy to show up to appts but not pay for a copay, and more than happy to try to control everything, but when my son was in the hospital i couldnt get a hold of him for 48 hours because he was “out having a life”…he neglects my son, does not care about what it really means to be a parent and refuses to get his dirty house of to par. Why is my son to suffer , just so that i wont be held in contept of court,..how is that fair? If i refuse to hand over my son for the above reason, ie neglect etc…will i really be held in contempt? is handing over a child to someone who is an abusive alcholic and neglects my son really in the best interst of my child?…Yet i am going to be the “bad guy” for not handing him over..I want my child to have a father, however in the pdl it will state for my ex to undergo a psychological exam. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE.
After 18 months in a custody dispute, our judge determined that even though during this lawsuits time frame, my son’s mother has been arrested 2 times for cocaine possession and also received a DUI with our child in the vehicle. that he would not grant me temporary custody of our child until my ex wife under went rehab.. and at that time I would be more than willing to divide the custody jointly when he was able to care for our child.
This is just a brief description of how our divorce came about, and how we ended up in court.. but if I grabbed a picket sign and sat outside the courthouse (just myself) would I be arrested. I appealed, but this is some kind of joke. There was no rehab ordered for her or anything. Just a psychological exam that she failed miserably.
I want to get her the help she needs. I even offered to pay for it although we are separated. I was denied and our child still remains with her.
Would I be arrested if I did a one man protest outside the court house?
a girl was dropped off at his house and apparantly had some alcohol drinks, he didn’t offer them to her and didn’t even really know her well. her friends picked her up and took her home. the parents called the police. they talked to him and said ok all seamed well . a yr later he is summons to court for contributing to a minor! they are both minors. what do you suggest he does?
My grandaughter was born June 05 with meth found in maconium. Parents had phsyical custody and State of NV having custody. They rec. custody just at deadline. In July 06 grandson born, again meth . CPS took custody placing them out of home & with me. CPS has plan for parents to follow & to be done by 7/07. were voted into drug court 12-15mos.. had 4-5 weeks in, fathers UA failed, arrested for 5 days. starts over with DC .CPS states to me: to think if I want to adopt .Don’t believe parents will make the deadline date.. (I ‘m 49, kids are 16 mo and 4 mo It has been a hard 4mos. Parents want me to then let them live with them.. I”M sure you can’t do that. I feel, I’m the one doing the WORK,some 0 nites sleep .0 LIFE., My man of 7 yrs has left.cuz of it all! They go do whatever , no clue what it takes for 2 kids 24/7. In october my fiance’s EX (babymomma) hid her pregnancy had a child Little did we know she was on crystal meth Her son and her both tested positive for crystal. CPS took her son away and gave temp custody to HER mom. since the custody was 50/50 with my fiance and his EX, CPS called him to come get his daughter or she would be in the care fo CPS. He got her and hte court granted temp full custody.in November they went back to court,she was a no show and they granted my fiance full custody. Court said If she completeed 6 months of rehab she can go and see if she can get visitation. Its been 6 months and still not complete. We would let her go to her grandmas house since the Ex was not allowed near the boy. and we trusted the grandmna and took her word. We just found out the Ex moved in witht he mom and they tried hiding it from us and tellin the lil girl to not tell us. well she did. we plan on cutting ties but what are the gmoms rights? also the mom getting visitation or custody?
Mind you we have a 2 bedroom apt VERY nice with just him, myself, my daughter and her. The EX lives in a run down 2 bedroom apt with like seriously 7 people living there. HSe has not completed her treatment… but if she goes to court what are her chances?

I recently came across a tape where my son, who was on cocaine, talked about my STBX being reprimanded to drug abuse counseling. They were seeing the same counselor as well as my husband seeing another one and both seeing the same mental health counselor.
My husband was put on Lexapro about 2 years ago. I just read that Lexapro is used to withdraw someone from cocaine. Google Lexapro and cocaine, not just Lexapro.
This is where it gets sticky. The judge sealed his record of conviction on physical abuse of me. The judge came under fire recently for shielding men from prosecution with a cop speaking up so long as his name was not used. The DA deflected the attack with legal double talk. No man has ever been convicted of rape or violence against women in my town that I can find.
How can I prove that my husband has an addiction to drugs without the cooperation of the law? I only have a week to do this in.
Our son is over 18 and lives with other guys. He has been spotted with known drug dealers on Feb.9 of this year.
As I stated, my STBX is on Lexapro and has been for 2 years that I know of. If he was on cocaine, all traces would be gone by now.
Other people here have heard local doctors talking about putting herione in vitamin shots to keep people coming in for more shots (these people would have no reason to fabricate such a thing) so I would not trust anything a doctor says here. I know of several people who have been given prescripts for pain killers for years and for no reason. This is a wealthy community and there are more than one “Dr. Feelgoods” who practice openly. I feel that if it is to be proved, it has to be done through those sealed court records.
Just before the 4th of July he was arrested again because he had been drinking. CPS wants to take his parental rights away. He went to court last friday and was release on the condition that he starts on antabuce. . On monday at noon he went in for his UA. They said he failed for meth and sending it to the lab. He tells me that he didn’t do anything but had shared a pepsi with the neighbor..and took a sudafed or something for his cold. But tuesday he is worried? He asked me strang ? tonight like if I had certo or water pills? Will either one of those cover meth in a drug test today that he has? And will the antabuce have one of those false positive results I am hearing about.? The judge is not going to give him another chance which means I lose my rights with my grand kids. That is KILLING me to think about as they are 1 and 2 I have raised for a year now. If that test comes back pos. could it be the medication he said? Or am I not giving him a chance again.? Help worried granny!

My ex boyfriend is trying to get visitation on our 2 year old son. I really don’t trust him because he is an alcoholic and he’s very irresponsible. I fear of him taking him by himself and drinking around my son and driving while my son is in the car. And my ex still stays with his grandma which is not a good environment. There is junk and trash all over the place. And inside their is too. I mean really poor environment. I told him if he wanted to see his son he can see him at my house. But he refused. I’m not trying to keep him away from our son, i just don’t trust him by himself with him. If he takes me to court what can i do to get supervised visitations? By the way i’m the state of GA.

Court documents say Martinez was caught in an undercover sting by detectives in Barton County, Kansas (about 120 miles northwest of Wichita), using his young son to help sell cocaine.
Under Kansas law, the charges (and plea bargain) would have landed Martinez on probation. But the judge in the case said the defendant couldn’t be put on probation because of his immigration status.

Here is the situation…I have some strong suspicions that my husband’s ex is abusing drugs (specifically Cocaine). My step-son found cocaine in her room with a straw and a razor blade. He took a picture of the drugs which I have. Numerous people have also told us she is on drugs. My step-son was extremely upset and asked how we could prove she was on drugs, I told him to get hair from her hairbrush and I sent it away to be tested. It that illegal? Admissable in Court? Will the courts order her to have a hair follicle test done? The kids have been extremely mentally abused by their mother’s sister over the whole situation….What do we do?
I have a paternity suit pending against my ex fiance. Our child is 4 months old and he has never seen the child, called, asked for pictures, or anything. He abandoned me when I was 14 weeks pregnant and I haven’t heard from him since (well once when he was really drunk and threatening me). He is an alcoholic. He has a DUI on his record. I am told nothing can be done if it doesnt happen in the town he went to court in. He is awaiting sentencing yet so he isnt on probation. Why cant they order him to submit to a U/A no matter where he is living?

UPDATE: He is not my boyfriend now, he was at the time. I am trying to see that he gets what is coming to him but since he has already plea bargained to a lesser crime, I dont know if it is possible. Catching him drinking maybe our only way for justice.

Short version- My nephew’s father took him for a weekend, he didn’t bring him back and during the weekend he had him took him he called a friend of his ( a judge, the father is a cop) and got a custody order and child support on a saturday morning of all times. He claimed on the record that everyone in the mother’s family were felons, criminals, drug addicts, and drug dealers. One person in our family had a felony conviction that is over 15 years old but that is all. The mother has already been given custody in our county after a year of this nonsense .
The father went to the next county to get this order.
We have all pitched in everything we have to help her get her son back but we want to know what to do about this slander thing, he strait out lied in court and no one was there to defend themselves. No one knew about the court hearing but the judge and the father.
Any advice about any of this would be helpful. We are in Texas if that helps
The way we found out was a process server came to her house and handed her the papers. The father hasn’t made contact.
We have all pooled our money and will get the best lawyer we can to help her get her son back.
My soon to be ex has a long criminal history and is living with his mother whom smokes like a chimney. He refuses to agree to anything pertaining to the divorce and is now leaving child custody in the hands of a judge. I am so scared that he will get some visitation with our 6 week old son that is unsupervised and he will run. He has only spent about 4 hours total with our son since his birth and contributes very little. My attorney says not to worry but this is my child and I am scared.
