My daughter will be 1 year old in Feburary. I am very excited to through her a party. I also have a son who will be celebrating his third birthday in March but the last 2 birthdays his grandparents (my in-laws) showed up with their own booze. How do I tell them i want an alcohol free birthdays this year. It soooo imbarasing when they can’t handle them selves around company. It’s a child birthday party for crying out loud. I wish they would leave the booze at home. It’s not like my husband and I don’t drink but there is a time and place for it. They are great people so I don’t want to hurt their feelings. Any advice out there?

I have an 8 year old son and have recently found out that his father is using cocaine and meth and also found out that he made counterfeit money. I found all this out from his wife. I am not out for vengeance or anything like that. We were never married and I believe every child should have both parents in their lives, but I am worried about the safety and well being of my child. My son loves his daddy and I don’t want to take that away from him. We have no legal custody arrangements. What can I do? Just refuse to let him take my son for his weekends? Can I have him drug tested? Demand that he go to rehab? I don’t really have the financial resources to go to court. Me and my husband live pay check to pay check and I haven’t received child support in years.
I am preparing (well in advance) for my son’s birthday party and today someone whom I had intended to invite (along with her 2 children that my son plays with) asked what kind of alcohol I would be serving. I said no alcohol, he’s two, for crissake’s.
Well, she goes and says that it’ll be a crappy party with no booze and she has booze at her kid’s birthdays.
Who does that? What if a child got into it?
Booze and children’s parties are declasse right?
Oh, and the party is going to be at 11 am. Most people are still drinking coffee at 11 am,. (and there will be coffee, and soda, and lemondae, and water bottles)

They have very little money and I promised her I would try to help. She wants her son to stop because he is quickly becoming addicted. She wants to teach him a lesson and help him to stop. Therapy is not the answer in this situation. He’s very tough and he needs something that is straight on and challenging. He is only 15. Please help.

15 year old son goes 2 school in washington county, PA.
Was in a bathroom stall taking a whiz. Teacher looked into the crack between stall wall & door, told my son he was busted for smoking,& to go to the office. Son walked out of the stall, pants still undone, told the teacher that he was pi@#ing not smoking My son went to the office When he got to there, the principal searched Sons pockets,lifted up his pant legs so his socks could be seen, son voluntarily took his shoes off & let them be inspected.(nothing was found, no cigs, or lighter,nothing) The principal took son to his locker searched it extensively, they found nothing. Son comes home from high school; told me he was suspended for three days & would have to go in front of our local magistrate.Son told me he felt violated, because the teacher looked into the stall? I talked to the teacher, he said he didn’t see him with a cig, but the bthrm was smky.Son has no reason to lie,we don’t approve but we know he smokes. Violated/Not?
There is this girl named britney in my town she’s 17 years old and has a 1 year old son. britney and her family have a bad reputation Basically they are well known for causing problems. britney’s mother is a alcoholic who doesn’t have a problem watching her grandson while under the influence. britney’s father committed suicide when she was young sadly although who could blame him, after all that family is trouble. her two brothers are in and out of jail… anyway recently Child Protective Services took her son in their custody because she was snorting prescription pills, smoking crack, and possibly shooting heroin, her son tested positive for drugs.. and because the family is unstable the boy will probably go to a adoption agencie since britney doesn’t know who fathered her son. will she get into trouble for having drugs in her son’s system?
will the mother be sent to juvenile intill she’s 21?
The mother neglects her child by not watching him properly. she takes him out without dressing him warmly Not putting a jacket on him, or hat and gloves. she takes her son out for a walk 2:00 in the morning and later then that strolling him arould when she has no business being out in the first place. she starts fights with people and becomes very violent in front of her son, (she’ll fight another person with her son there)
Because we live in a small town basically everyone is in everybody else’s business therefore rumors are spreading about her alot. of course Child Protective Services did take her child but people are talking about why they took him from her. she deserved it she shouldn’t have children when she can’t even take care of herseif, britney will probably grow up and be just like her mother a alcoholic with four more misfits as children just like her siblings.
