My husband has a serious drinking problem and he hasn’t been home in 5 days now! He missed his and our son’s birthday! Could he be a a severe drinking binge, or is cheating on me also? I am not saying that I am ok with the drinking and not coming home but maybe he could get counseling. If he is cheating and drinking too much, well I can’t keep doing this! This has been an ongoing problem with the drinking throughout our relationship. I just can’t do this anymore we have been together 12 years and I have put up with this! We now have 2 small boys and this is not healthy for them! I can’t stand them asking where is daddy? I am so fed up!! I don’t know what to do anymore! Please give me some advice!
He has been calling me off and on. He does have a cell that he turns off when he doesn’t want to talk. When I am able to talk to him he says that he is on his way home! I just spoke with him again and he said that he has been drinking at our old vacant house that is on the market. He said he would be home in the morning, we will see!

A boy that has been a long time friend of my family started college last year. He went out-of-state, and listening to him brag about how he never went to class, failed all but one, partied the whole time he was there, is now faced with trying to go back in. He even had his parents rent and pay all utilities for his place, including food and all his “partying suppllies” which they thought was all for school, books, supplies.
Okay, heres the boner here. His father is hooked on drugs and blows alot of his money – but was also the one paying cash for the whole thing. He is not allowed to view his sons grades without his son granting him permission. I tried to talk to the boy and get him to be serious about his grades, and letting him know that he needs to take this opportunity that has been handed to him and make something out of it, before one day when he couldnt. He obviously did not listen.
Anyway, I know the parents, and am sorta friends with them. His father came to me and asked me how his grades were. I dont want to break the trust of his son, but at the same time, I dont want to see his father throw all that money down the drain also. So I told the father, BEFORE you pay for his education, why not ask your son to show you his grades from last year first. That if your going to be the one paying for him, then you want to be entitled to see how he is progressing. I felt that was a good way to “tell” but “not tell”.
So his son came our house with his labtop and was downloading programs that he could get a fake grading card with his schools name on it-which looked real, and is what he wants to show his father.
I shook my head in disbelief!
I know if he doesnt go to school with his fathers money, his father will blow it on drugs. So I dont know what to do.
Should I just let this tide roll the way it is going to?
What would you do?
Ok i have been separated from my wife for a year have really only give her the space she wanted the last 5 months.I was a mean drunk to her and my son which i am ashamed off.But i have gotten into AA and i am in counseling about my anger and suicide attempts.I Truly love this woman and child with all my heart wished i could have done it before this happened but i did not.I know she made me a better man the day i meet her and even a better man the day she left me.Do not get me wrong i want her and my son back real bad just not sure how i can make this happen.If anyone has an advise please tell a stupid man what to do.And yes i know i am a stupid man for treating a amazing woman like shit.I have since tried to give her the space she wanted and even done stuff for her that i did not need to do.For example we hung-out Saturday with my son she said she was depressed about money and her job.So Sunday i went out and and bought her the Alisha Keys album with Superwoman on it .I really expected nothing but a heartfelt thank you.What i got was thanks as she through the CD on the passenger seat in almost disgust.Ok could this be the sign if a woman who hates me and loves another man.Or is this the reaction of a woman who is trying to show as little feelings as possible.
Oh yea she brings up the divorce almost everytime we get together.Read in a book that woman want closeier on stuff like this faster than men.Or is this a woman who already has someone on the side unsure this is why i am asking.
