I have legal custody of my sister’s 4 year old daughter. She was going to put her up for adoption at birth and I’ve had her since day one. I have been mommy to her all her life and my son and daughter have been her brother and sister from the beginning. My sister gave up all rights to her when she was 3 months old and the father is unknown. I would like to legally adopt, so that she may carry our last name and would like to do this before she starts school, so that she doesn’t have to learn a name she isn’t familiar with. (She has always called herself my my last name and doesn’t know any different.) We started our through DHR as my sister had a serious drug and alcohol problem. We have been discharged from the state when I was given legal custody of her at three months old. I wondered of there was a program that would assist in the cost of a legal adoption as I’ve heard it will cost around $2000 in legal fees. Any input on the subject would be greatly appreciated!

What can I do, I am a workaholic, have a daughter who is using meth, a son who does not have a rewarding job.
I have a good husband, make good money, but I smoke, drink, and my blood pressure is up. I tried Chantix, but it made my blood pressure even worse. What do I do…..I feel like I am dying…..my coping mechanism is shot…………….how do I get help…..does anyone have any answers for me. I just feel like I have no control. I can’t quit smoking, I love drinking beer. I am a walking time bomb. Will religion help me, meditation, maybe some counseling, maybe religion……..I am lost … and I cannot find my way………is there anyone out there that can help me, please………I have always helped others……don’t like to ask for help, but I feel like I am at the end of the road….any understand people with knowledge of what I should do out there. If your out there….please help me, I really, really, really need lots of help……God bless……

My son confessed to me, he was with a few other teens, back the wooods, and there were other teens there, in sort of an outdoor dope place.. some were smoking pot. But he said he saw a guy sitting by himslef spitting blood every few seconds. I said maybe he was doing cocaine, cos I remember a girl told me she used to do so much of it, her nose would bleed. What do u think that kid was on? Why was he spitting blood?
My son had to get lab work today and he got stuck twice. I notice the after the first stick the phlebotomist threw away the equipment in the biohazard box and touched the rim with a bunch of dried blood. She didn’t change her gloves and continued to stick my son. She wiped the site with alcohol but then proceded to feel for the vein and didn’t wipe the site again. It happened so fast and I wondered if I’m being paranoid but now that I think about it I can’t get it out of my head that my son might contract something. What can be passed on with dried blood. What are the chances please anyone respond thank you.

my son has to under go monthy random alcohol and drug test is this a blood test or urine? Required for custody battle…
what can cause false positives?and who can verify it?
he was killed in a car accident I need to know if that was a high level and how soon before his accident did he use the drug and his benzoylecgonine level was 0.54mg/L
My son was stopped for a traffic violation and could not pass the physicaltest. A blood test was positive for .008 cocaine. He is ADHD and takes concerta daily and has for a long time. I know for a fact that he doesn’t do cocaine for several reasons.
i suspect my son be using it and i want to know how long meth stays in the body
