His is a wonderful man & they get along GREAT I just dont want them to start not getting along…that would be horrible..

I could use his truck (we are looking to buy one now) as leverage but I really dont want to have to threating him..

When my son was 3 had a severe fever that landed him in the ER. They treated him with an alcohol bath so he was completly naked in the room. While they was bathing him they did not use privacy curtains around him. They also took his temperature rectally with no privacy curtains. Who was present in the room was my husband and I, my twin sister, my mother, the dr., and various nurses. My son asked me why they did not use privacy curtains during the alcohol bath and rectal temperature. Would privacy curtains had been appropriate at the time his naked body and naked butt was exposed.
He had just turned 3 years old

What happened with your son, what did they do to make him freak, and how old was he?

Started dating this guy in high school, we both moved when i went to college. everything was great. 2 1/2 years into it i find out he’s been cheating since the beginning. keep in mind he also has a felony record, drug and alcohol problems, and is a chronic liar. ever since i got pregnant, he’s been faithful and tried to change the rest. we have again moved, and he’s holding a good job, off drugs, and doing well with the alcohol. He’s a great dad, when he wants or has to be. but otherwise, he’s pretty selfish and childish. the more time i spend thinking about leaving the less hard it seems. i really do want to salvage the relationship for my son, but i know that getting into a bad marriage is worse than no marriage at all. i’m really sick and tired of being his mom too. he’s never lived on his own and can’t take care of his own bills and needs, how can i expect him to take care of me and our son? not much time to decide!!! stay and get married, or leave and be a single mom. i know i can

My son was honorably discharged from the USCG after a motorcycle accident involving alcohol. I know he was wrong but now they are doing an investigation a year after the fact and saying that due to his misconduct he should pay for his medical bills. He has not recovered mentally or physically and owns nothing. He connot afford an attorney and they will not provide him with one. I have two other sons that are Marines and they have never heard of anything like this. Can they reverse the honorable discharge? We just do not understand why they would do this. It seems like someone made a mistake a year ago and now they are trying to fix it. He was questioned initially, prior to discharge and signed away his right to an attorney eight weeks after severe head trauma. Is there anyone that can help us?
Navy Sailor, Thank you for your response. I fully understand that my son actions deserve punishment. The good thing is he knows also and expected to punished and or discharged but to be discharged and a year later have this issue come up. He never received counsel or rehab, those are the benefits our kids deserve when they sign up and put their lives on the line. I have two sons in Iraq and we are a very pro military. I am not a blind mother just think it should have been delt with prior to discharge.

The friend he got into trob. w/ ( they broke n2 a “friends” house and shot paintballs in the house put holes in walls and stopped a toilet up and drank some alcohol- generally f-ed the place up good) has a pretty hard nosed stepdad and yet he is out and about skateboarding and hanging out w/ friends etc…. Am I being 2 harsh as a parent??? My grounding started the day this all happened in june and hasn’t ended yet. It’s not as if this was a minor thing- the “law” is involved and he has 2 be on probation 4 a year and if he doesnt obey me and his dad or if he breaks the probation rules he can be sent to boys school until he is 18. My son is 15 and his friend is 14.
My punishment is kinda stiff… No phone No friends No going anywhere unless u r w/ me or dad or maybe grandma.. NO SKATEBOARDING NONE – They stole 2 skateboards too- btw.

He is claiming I stole from the company which is a lie. I was operating member and registered agent of the llc. I have completly been locked out of the business and he has put his alcoholic son, who has no experience running this type of business (grocery store) whatsoever.
Our operating agreement started out with him having 95% and me having 5% of ownership due to him putting up the initial capital but or K-1s show 50/50 and he has signed loan agreements showing 50/50 ownership.
The company has paid him back $12,000 of the $135,000 he initially put up even though he never had an actual promissary note drawn up on it.
Him removing me involuntarily is direct violation of the operating agreement that states neither member cannot be denied acsess to the business or it’s records. He has also disrupted the day to day operations of the business which is also a violation of the operating agreement.
I have worked my butt off to make this business work. What are my options?
I know the business has total assets of about $355,000 but am not able to figure liabilities because of the lock-out.

My husband and I are trying to get full custody of his son. The mother is on drugs, was arrested last year for pos. of meth, and then indicted this year. We have pictures that show where she put bruises all over my step-son’s legs for spilling something on a new rug. Her and her mom have taught Dalland, my step-son, to act like a girl. He hardly plays with boy toys, he is attracted to girl things. He is better some, but he gets picked on at school. We just don’t know what to do. We have a lawyer, but we don’t have the money to go to court. Is there anyway around the money issue?

talking very vulgarly, loud, demands attention, talks over everyone, speaks of suicide, I have called crisis center and had the police escort him there but he plays it off to the doctors that he is completely normal and has no issues but when he comes back home he acts out immediately. He feels he is hated by everyone. I have 3 younger children and this has affected all of us. Now we are hostile towards him. He is also recently been discovered that he was using meth, Ecstasy, weed ect. I have tried to take him to go to rehab he refuses to go and he was ordered by the court to take anger management classes which he also failed to do. He blames me for all of his problems and takes no personal responsibility. He also has an ex girlfriend that put a restraining order against him and she has been rubbing in his face that she cheated on him so he is threating to cut his throat in front of her to show her how much she hurt him. I called the suicide hotline and the only advice they gave me is he is acting like someone who is on serious drugs and he needs to take care of that problem. He is in complete denial about everything. My options are limited considering he is a legal adult and I can’t force him to do anything. I don’t want to give up on him but I don’t know how much more I can deal with. What are my options for him considering he is a legal adult? help . Mom in desperation.!

What is the likelihood that someone can use Meth “recreationally” several times a week and not be hooked?

My ex recently came back in the picture claiming that he dropped out of my sons life 6 months ago because he went down the wrong road and started hanging around bad people and started using meth. He said “it’s not like I’m addicted or anything. I quit a week ago. I just used it to help me deal with the feelings I was having about my life sucking so bad.”

Would you buy it? Believe him?
I have no intention of getting back together with him. we’ve been split for two years. He left because he wanted his “freedom”. I’m just concerned about my son. He’s 4 and my ex says he wants to start coming back into the picture regularly now.

This is slightly awkward to say the least. We have had numerous confrontations about his out of control marijuana and alcohol abuse but never anything like this. To make matters worse my daughter who is 16 told me this information and made me promise not to say anything. Any advice from other parents would be greatly appreciated.
