my dad doesnt really see me, hes been an alcoholic ever since i remember but this christmas he has no where to go cuz his family is leaving, so my mom invited him to our christmas so i feel like i should get him a present and i decided on getting him a gas card and a book. i wanted to get him a book on how to be a better dad but nothing reall comes up when i google it besides books that dont seem interesting. i doubt if he’ll really actually read it but i just want him to look at it and know that he has hurt me and he is going to be a grandpa and needs to either be a good one and stick around or stay away. so any good books for my situation? ten points to legit good answer

They provided all of the alcohol and no food. I will not expand upon many details but this was a serious situation and our neighbors are sueing us for their son falling down at our house. I do not need opinions regarding marriage/relationship. Just the possibality of receiving compensation for my injuries as well as pain and suffering?
I would, his/her life would be hell untill their 18.

Im not literally gonna stand there and try to kill my child, im saying if my son ever does such a thing, theres gonna be some serious punishments, and you bet your ass he wont even think about doing it again.
My 17 year old friend live with his father because his parents divorced. He was beaten up by his father because he was caught smoking meth in his room and his father found some other illegal drugs in his room like cocaine,oxy,vicodens, and some marijuana, he even tried to commit suicide! In a result of his beatings, he was knocked out and has lots of bruises all over his body. Ever since then, his father follow him everywhere he go school, beach, I mean everywhere. He can’t stay home by himself anymore his father’s friend (a marine soldier) always babysits him every time his father goes to work. His father also installed a some kind of super lock on his bedroom winow. At night my father sleep in his room with him making sure he does’nt sneak out. I think his father beat him up because he love his son.
His father did sent him to rehab but he got worse. Thats why he beat him up.
Me and my boyfriend have known each other for 7 years and have been together for 2 of them we have an 9 month old son as well. Now me and my boyfriend has had our arguments and have even fought but not like this night im about to tell u about.
Me and my boyfriend had been having problems for about 2 weeks i would stay gone n we would not sleep in the same bed when i got home.
Now on a saturday i left and later on that night at like 1 or 2 a.m. i get a phone call sayin that my boyfriend was super drunk had lost his phone and was tryin to drive so i went to go get him and told him to let me take him home he told me no and started yelling at me which turned to him pushing me hard to the ground in the parking lot and then we started fighting and i stopped and he kept coming at me dragging me by my hair banging my head to the ground stomping me punching me…everything and then he was sent to detox i did not press charges.
Now the next day i packed my shit and was ready to go but he got home early he tried to kiss me and i moved away he said whats wrong and i was like you dont know and he said that he did not remember i explained to him what had happened in detail of how he beat me and he could not believe it. I told him that me and his son was leaving and he started begging for me to stay and not to go and crying this went on for 2 hours he said that he promise never to do it again and that he made a huge mistake and that he would be better. Then he started talking about getting engaged and how much he love me and need me and for me to give him another chance i told him i already have several times he said that he knows but for me to please give him one more….
I know this is long but should i really stay?
