He is a pot head and an alcoholic. I wont let him take our son at all, if he wants to be with him, i make him see him in my house. Is this wrong??? He sure acts like it but shoot Im not going to let anything happen to my son . Advise?

I don’t think that is wrong at all. Just because he is the father doesn’t always mean he is safe. You need to trust your gut. If you don’t think he should be alone with him, then don’t let him be alone with him.

The only way to do that legally is to go to court and have supervised visits ordered.

The first person is right, as far as the second one goes, my response to that is, if your sons father has a problem with it and really wants to see his son he will straighten up and take it up with his lawyer. You have to do what is right for your child, and make the right decision to keep him safe.

I wouldn’t let him anywhere near him and would file for a restraining order just to protect you and him from his father.

Although he is his father, that doesn’t mean you can automatically trust him. Thats such an unfortunate situation, but I wouldn’t risk the safety of your child.

It would show a great lack of responsibility if you let the kid with the father by themselves, really
It could be dangerous enough to lose the precious one.
You would regret forever.being drunk he has no rights at all and I would make that clear to him

No it is not wrong.You’d have to be crazy to let him take your son.
I have to ask, WHY did you make a baby with a drunk pot head in the first place?
