Should I be nervious about this? I’m concorned…?

Hello, everyone
I have a 25 yeasr old son who was addict to crystal meth. He went to the rehab center last year in may 2010, and will be coming home next month in march. Since he left to rehab, I haven’t spoke with his girlfriend. The last time I’ve spoken to her was november 2010. She use to call me everytime but I haven’t heard a thing from her.
I left a message on facebook in janaury 26 telling her to give me a call, she called me. I ask have my son gotten in contact with her she said he write her the other day! All of a suuden, her phone started to mess up. I told her to call me in ten minutes, she agreed. Well, she never cakled me back I had to call her back! When I called she never answered my call. Its been almost a month from the message i’ve sent to her and still’ no call. What do you think is going on? I’ve been calling but no answer? I’m concered because they suppost to be geting marroed when he gets out! DETAILS PLEASE!

I think you should be a little worried, it sounds like the girl knows his reputation got ruined and now she’s acting like she has nothing to do with him or she just doesn’t want to marry him anymore.

That’s all that comes to mind. There’s always crack consequences…

Why are you relying on his girlfriend to find out about your son? Can you call the rehab place to check on him? I know some facilities don’t allow contact but you can at least call them tp make sure he is still there because you haven’t heard from him. If I were you, I’d find a different way to find out how he is doing, not through this girlfriend of his. She sounds a little unreliable and on top of that, she shouldn’t be put in the middle.

it may be that she found someone else in the meantime or decided that it is too risky to get into a relationship with someone who was addicted to the crystal meth. They should not get married until he has been out and clean for at least 6 months to a year because it would be so easy for him to relapse. If you can afford it, you might consider getting him to go to landmark forum to help him get past the temptation to get back onto the drugs. I will give you a link for that. The girl friend should not get into the middle of relationship between you and your son and you should not get into the middle of a relationship between them either.
