This is your first sentence in your question: “Ok, so my wife’s husband is a complete scumbag.”

In other words, the guy who married your wife is a scumbag. That would be you.

If you really want to help your wife to get rid of this scumbag you’re talking about, you should leave town.

This is a very unfortunate situation. And I really feel for your wife’s sister. I would think that he is working under the false name for being illegal rather than having a warrant. But you could always do a background check.

I am not sure how you would turn him in for being illegal, especially since you don’t have any proof. And, I hate to say this, but women like your wife’s sister are the ones who have to end the abuse. Even if you were able to get him deported, he would likely find a way back in. Or, she may be in such bad shape from the meth that she might follow him to Mexico and you may never see her again. I don’t think making “this guy disappear” is going to solve the problem.

Unfortunately there’s not much you can do for her sister until she wants help. I feel like a shrink, and I know this isn’t what you’re asking for, but really all you can do for her is just be there for her.

You should turn them in to the department of social services in your state because of their son though. He should not be in this environment. Do a google search for department of social services and your state and you should be able to find more information.
