Dont answer if your gonna lecture everyone cause we dont want to hear it!!

during my pregnancy i had a wine every two weeks or so… my best friend is getting married next week and she’s 30 weeks pregnant… she wants to have a wine at the reception but her mother in law is already calling her a bad mother… surely, i believe, one glass of red wine isnt giong to hurt

oh and my son is 4months old and nothing is wrong with him, had no complication during pregnancy or labour and he is developing early….

I had a couple glasses of wine with my son. The Dr actually recommended half a glass every few days. I had really high blood pressure caused by stress. I didn’t want to over due it for fear of having problems. I don’t think one glass will do any harm. I learned you can never please a MIL they will almost always think you are a bad mom…lol

i only took a couple sips, i felt too guilty to drink even half a glass. :/
but my friend drank a couple times and i can’t say i don’t pass a LITTLE judgement…because i do…but her baby is fine, perfectly healthy and so adorable! so i’m sure its really not going to be that harmful, however, doctors shouldn’t suggest such a thing in ANY Event, how irresponsible of a doctor…yikes. HOWEVER, people are going to pass judgement, and not just people online…so if that is a concern then maybe she should at least be very subtle about it.

I enjoyed half a glass of red wine once every few weeks during my pregnancy. It’s okay to have a little red wine here and there during your pregnancy, in fact my OB actually told me it was fine. So tell your friend it’s okay and not to worry about it, if her MIL has issue with it it’s her problem because it’s perfectly safe.

Some people have the wrong information

It is perfectly safe to drink in moderation during pregnancy

Infact small amounts of red wine are beneficial

Getting drunk on a litre of vodka is not

I had a glass of wine every few days with my son. Only red wine though. That’s what my doctor told me. He is far from an alcohol syndrome baby. Very smart and is right on track on everything. fetal alcohol syndrome babies have very distinct attitudes and features. They come from mothers who are alcoholics, or drink on a daily basis, and a lot.

i drank a few glasses of wine during pregnancy, my doctor said it would be fine. The only reason they say not to drink any if because they havnt been able to identify a “safe” level to drink so its safer to say none otherwise some people will think they can drink until they are drunk or drink everyday

Oh WOW! What you are going to think of me….

I actually had NO clue I was pregnant for over 3 months. I had been told “no babies for me” and I always missed periods or was really late.

Well, during that time I had smoked and drank every other weekend!!!

I also drank wine at a party with my second child (that’s right, I can have babies now all the sudden. Guess it took hitting that 30 mark.)

Both my children are wonderfully happy and healthy!

Everything is great in moderation!

I dont know what dr would tell a woman to have wine or any alcohol during pregnancy, but i drank a bunch at 3 weeks pregnant 1 week before i found out at a halloween party and then 2 bloody mary’s at 11 weeks, spread out though. but after that none bc i felt guilty.and my 8-month-old is healthy as can be.

I’ve always heard no safe amount of alcohol whether it be red wine or something worse, is safe, so it’s best to just abstain altogether. I’m sure once in a blue moon is fine, but not anymore than a glass or two. Why risk it/ 10 months really isnt that long.
