Yes you could…. because you haven’t gotten the visitation amended. You need to go back to court to have it amended. Or, allow him to see his child. Those are your two options….

As for the second, you could allow him to meet him somewhere, like the mall or something. Just don’t let it become an over night trip. OR, suck it up and have him over at your house so you’re in the clear.

Whatever you do don’t let your son grow up hating his dad. Tell him his dad has some problems and couldn’t help the way he acted sometimes.

I know two divorced families with grown children. In one case the mother tried to raise the children and not speak ill of the father…even though he ended up married 7 times and constantly cheated.
In the second case the mother constantly bad mouthed her cheating ex. The difference in these adult children is amazing. The mother who tried to speak positive of the mixed up father the kids turned out great, on the other hand the mother who bad mouthed the kids father- all those adult children are really screwed up!
