I lived in the back woods growing up and I remember twice during the summer every year my father took us kids out to clean up the roads.. we mostly found beer cans and cigarette packages I remember once my father found a shoe, it was a decent shoe too so he hung it up on a tree branch by the road in case someone wanted their shoe back. Well a few days later he was out hunting and he found the match!! Needless to say they were his size and he got a ‘new’ pair of shoes lol.. it’s not like we didn’t have the money for him to buy his own he’s just always been one to use what he has until it’s broken beyond repair. He still wears those shoes too…

maybe someone had a random beer party in the middle of no where you know and just threw there cans down there. That is what I would assume lol

I think it’s a sign that you should watch a little closer what kind of traffic goes around your neck of the woods. The dead deer is sad, but people can hit deer while sober too. I almost hit a cow a few weeks ago! It was night and something about the color of the cow and the way the road was set up just blended together too well.

I live in a small town and work in the country. My boyfriend and I were noticing the litter a few days ago too. We saw beer cans, beer bottles, fast food cups, juice bottles, soda cans, paper items, feed bags, and of course cigarettes.

It is rare for me to travel to work without seeing a dead animal or two. They are usually small creatures, but I have seen a few deer. – It makes me kind of bitter.

generally you’d find people hanging around drinking beer in the woods, as opposed to going all the way in the woods to drink soda.
