My boyfriend of 5 years started using drugs and left me!?

I am having the hardest time getting over it. He was so in love with me and then out of the blue started using bad drugs (meth) and one day just left!! He left me with our 3 yr old son and now he has a new girlfriend (a known drug addict). I can’t seem to understand how he could do this to me, what should I do to get over it…

Well if it was me. I would call the cops on him for using meth and that. Then Take him to court so he has to pay child support. But other then that i am not sure what u can do to get over him but thats one thing u should do

You are better off without him…You do not want that kind of sample around your kid…
call the cops on him….and sue for child support.

You don’t need him honey, you need to stay the fuck back away from like 100ft behind. What if you become like him? than what would u do? you can’t get him off of it. I know is hard, and I understand that is the father of your child, sometimes u have to make decision that hurt so much. U never what drug addict r thinking. What if he hurts u and ur baby? Focus on finding a real man and continue to raise your child. Best of luck to you.

I don’t know why people do half the insane,cruel and stupid things they do.And mabe you will never know why.All you can do now is to focus on your son and being responsible for your own actions,not your boyfriends.He’s screwed this up,he’ll have to live with that.Your life and your son’s future is more important.Report your ex,get him for child support at least and move on with your life without him.You’ll find other guys,don’t waste time waiting for this one to change…because chances are he won’t and you’ll still be waiting and miserible,not to mention where that leaves your son.I don’t believe what happened was out of the blue,mabe he’s hid it for a long time,but what’s done is done.You can’t change that,all you can do is keep your head up and move on.It hurts like hell,and makes no sense,but in the scheme of things mabe it’s a blessing in disquise,only time will tell on that.Hang in there,things will get better.
