It’s your house, set some rules. If he has enough money to drink every day, he has money to have his own place. If he doesn’t like the rules, he has two chooses abide by them, or move out. You raised him, but that doesn’t mean you have to make your life miserable with a drunk, you already did that with his Dad,

He’s an adult and I say he should be able to make his own decisions. It’s good that you’re concerned for him, with the family history of alcoholism as that can play a major role in whether or not he turns out to be a “problem drinker.”
Perhpas you should try to have a conversation with him and just let him know that you’re concerned about him and let him know why and the dangers he may face given that his father was an alcoholic.
