Am I the only one who has kids who sneak food? I find wrappers and crumbs all over a lot from where they have been sneaking snacks. It’s chips, fruit, fruit cups, cookies, just anything. We have a good dinner every night. I don’t mind if they have treats in moderation but an entire bag of chips is just ridiculous! They don’t do it because they’re hungry. They just binge out on foods they like. I’ve told them not to do this and have asked why they do it but all I ever get is, “I don’t know”. I can’t lock all the food up or else I would. Lol. Anyone else gone through this? Any suggestions on how to curb it? Thanks for any help.
Btw: My son is 7 and my daughter is 4.
Add: I don’t want it to seem like all we have is junk food. I cook sensible meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They eat well and I allow them to have a treat after dinner. I don’t think it will hurt them in moderation. This is why I want to curb them from getting up in the middle of the night or when no one is watching and binging out. (just thought I’d clear that up.) Thanks again.
