drug tests? Also my 12 year old is on informal probation for shooting a BB gun obtained a surprise visit from his probation office who did a drug test – it came up positive for Amphetamines. My son doesnt do drugs but he is currently on Aderoll (spelled right) for ADHD. He has also BEEN on straterra, concerta and ritlin.

No, meth use and or other drugs are strictly tested for those ordered. If still concerned that the test is a false positive, then retest along with the prescriptions he is on, but the ones he is on are for depression and hyperactivity and attention deficit. My conclusion is that maybe he has done it, maybe not straight up smoking it, or injecting it, but it can be in the rave drug Ecstasy, which is very cheap and readily available in almost every school! Get him tested for that as well.

I don’t know what you mean by supplements but there are over the counter (OTC) medications that can give false positives for methamphetamine. Here is a partial listing of OTC medications that may result in a positive drug test for methamphetamines:
Ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, propylephedrine, phenylephrine, or desoxyephedrine
(Nyquil, Contact, Sudafed, Allerest, Tavist-D, Dimetapp, etc)
Phenegan-D, Robitussin Cold and Flu, Vicks Nyquil
Over-the-counter diet aids with phenylpropanolamine (Dexatrim, Accutrim)
Over-the-counter nasal sprays (Vicks inhaler, Afrin)
Asthma medications (Marax, Bronkaid tablets, Primatine Tablets)
Prescription medications (Adderall, Amfepramone, Cathne, Etafediabe, Morazone,
…phendimetrazine, phenmetrazine, benzphetamine, fenfluramine, dexfenfluramine,
…dexdenfluramine,Redux, mephentermine, Mesocarb, methoxyphenamine, phentermine,
… amineptine, Pholedrine, hydroymethamphetamine, Dexedrine, amifepramone, clobenzorex,

Amphetamine-Dextroamphetamine. It will show up as amphetamine on a drug test. It may show up as methamphetamine if thats all they are testing for in the drug test.I hope this information is useful to you. It is definitly the adderall. Adderall is amphetemine. The doctor who prescribed this should be willing to explain this to the cop.
