is there any programs out there that help recovering meth addicts?

im not looking for a reward for getting off meth, being off if for good is reward enough but i do want and need help i need my teeth fixed and some job skills im single with my son living with me and all i want to do is improve our lives i need schooling transportation and help

So glad to hear you have stopped using…..staying off will be harder. The assistance out there is slim, and not very encouraging. You should contact your church (Or one you like), They will have a social worker to help you get the help you and your son will need for the road ahead. It is usually free, and they will have contacts to help with transportation, counseling (this is a must), and they will know doctors and dentist that can give you free services or very reduced rate services. Contacts can also be found in the yellow pages, or family services in your area. Most family services charge a small fee.

It depends where you live. Perhaps there is a Salvation Army? They should be able to tell you. Also the police would know and I’m sure they would be happy to point you in the right direction. You could try a community centre of some kind or even the local council.
Phone book under drugs and alcohol or alcohol and drugs?
Any counsellor should be able to tell you.
Where I live there is a fantastic service for referrals called ADIS (Alcohol and drug Information Service) , they also do phone counselling like a life line type thing.
If there is “LifeLine” where you live they could refer you.
A local needle exchange service should have information.
Any other service for drug addicts should be able to point you in the right direction.
You just need to ask around a lot.
