you cannot braid it,and you cannot put gel in it,MY GOD,where has the common sense gone?

i think u should be asking ur dr if it will effect his soft spot on his head as im not sure but i cant see a issue as long as its not to tight.

my son had lots and lots of hair at age 10 months so i would gel it it keep it in place. my dr said their theres no problem using gel.

Hi there, to the person above that called the asker a sicko, he is just asking a question. I’m not at all sure what is so sick about it. Some people really don’t know something, hence the reason for asking questions. If we berate them, how can they learn? Also, how do you know that he is not Black. This is typical for black culture–boys and girls wearing braids at a young age, but not quite that young though.

To the asker:

I’d strongly suggest that you wait just a bit longer. Wait until the soft spot goes away. Also, you don’t want to use all that gel and chemicals on his hair just yet. He is too young. Wait until he is a bit older, so his skin has time to toughen up because some of this hair stuff is harsh for baby’s scalp. Also, it is a good idea that his soft spot is gone before his hair is done. Try to keep it under control for now with as little done as possible for now. I hope I’ve helped.

Well since he is that young still no i would not braid his hair! it really could effect the way his head grows! babies heads are still soft all around when they are that young if he keeps the braids in long enough he could have a lumpy head! wait till he is much much much older!
