The boy’s mother was cleaning his room the other day and what does she find under his bed. A mountain of playboy’s. She then tell me that went in a wild search to find any other disgusting materials and came across pot, lighters and rolling papers in his sock drawer and a bottle of captains morgans in his cabinet. Me and my wife have no clue what to do. My son keeps screaming that liquor,marijuana and porn are not frowned upon in the bible or church but I doubt this. I no wine turns into the blood of christ and all but it is just a little taste of it. Not 40% rum. Advice from fellow christians would be greatly appreciated. Non-christians need not reply.

Congrats. Your son is a sinner like me and you and your wife. He’s young, don’t be a hypocrite, explain to him its wrong, realize he is going to do weird things like these and you probably did for a long time as well. Show him the New Testament. Let him grow up and he’ll grow out of it. Pray for him. Show him lots of scriptures if he doesn’t believe you. Liquor isn’t that bad if its in moderation. Pot is wrong and it impairs thinking and memory and also causes weight loss. Porn is watched by every kid in America probably. And occasionally by adult christians as well. Not saying its right. Its just normal for kids to experiment with it. Pray, pray, pray.

Roman 13:1

the whole chapter discusses it. And then there is 1 Peter13, which says something similar.
I pray for your son that like all children of God, will rebel, but will find his path again. Amen.

it says nothing about it. God, the bible doesn’t have all the answers to EVERYTHING. Just throw the pot away and the alcohol and playboy and punish him. You can’t take him to a church and hope that once he learns the bible then he will stop doing all this. He’s a teenager, that’s what teenagers do retard.
