I was cleaning my 11 yr old son’s room, and under his bed i found 34 mg of crystal meth, 8 ounces of strawberry meth and 6 leaches for slomming. Hes going into his school’s rehab and idk if i should send him to our towns correction center. What should i do??

Talk it over with family you trust, minister, etc. An 11 year old with meth will be dead soon. I work in an ER. There are some drugs you can’t reverse the OD. Keeping you in my prayers. Wish some of these kids could see how hard we work to save them, but can’t. Then have to tell their families their preteen or teen is dead. It breaks my heart everytime.

Have the police talk with him & get some family counseling. Where would an 11 year old get that, unless it’s already in the house. My son is 11 & has no clue about drugs. Good luck

YOu know what obviously these are serious drugs okay i know my view is liberal but if it was a bag of weed i wouldnt be as concerned slap on the wrist and a long talk would be all. But as for meth if he wants to screw himself over thats fine send him every where you can and get him in trouble theres no helping someone on hardcore drugs because they dont wanna be helped. HOnestly he’ll thank you when its done and if he doesnt and you find it again leave him be. dont interfere if you love him take him to the hospital and leave.

First dispose of the drugs down the toilet or call the police and have them dispose of. Then take your son down to the police station or Sheriffs office and have them talk to him and hopefully show him what happens to people that do or sell Drugs. Make sure you keep good tabs on who he is hanging around. As we all know These Drugs are coming from somewhere. Limit his access to Money so he cant go and buy this means put up all Purses and wallet that have money or credit cards. then last get him in a drug treatment program out side of school. Plus let him know that you will help him through his addiction but you don’t support the use of Drugs!
