My friend is asking for my help because her son needs to get himself treated for alcohol addiction. Can anyone please give me suggestions on how I might be able to help her?

Tell her that she should bring her son to a doctor. The doctor will be able to assess her son’s condition and give her recommendations regarding addiction treatment centers as well. You should check out the links I’ve provided below too. They’re lists of the addiction treatment centers in the area you specified. I hope your friend’s son gets treated soon. If you call a hospital, they can advise you where to go. They have numbers to AA and other places.
