My son is 18 and he is in the army and I caught him drinking beer and he is too young and how can I go to the Military base and tell them that he should not be fighting in war anymore cause he is commiting crimes and that a kid his age should not be drinking alcohol?

On base drinking at 18 is allowed. In fact most people do it and smoke. You can call and let them know you don’t want him fighting but he probably learned it on base.

He is in the Army and the Army does NOT listen to MOMMIES. Tell him he is NOT to drink in your house or when he is driving. ADVISE him that if he gets caught he could lose his driver’s license.

I really don’t think there is too much you can do… He’s an “adult” ( 18 yr olds really shouldn’t even be classified as adults though.. ) but he knows what he is doing is wrong, but you taking him out of the army could possibly lead to rebellion and i doubt just because he is out of the army means he will all together quit drinking. don’t risk your relationship with your son over this. true, its illegal and its wrong but now its his judgement call to make…not mama’s. But do talk to him about it. Let him know how you feel about it…bring it to his attention that its illegal and really not a good idea. let him know you care about his well-being.
