My son is having a Sesame Street 2nd birthday party and I was wanting to make a non-alcoholic trashcan punch for an Oscar’s Punch…. But when I search for one all I get is alcoholic punch…. Anyone have a suggestion for a good recipe?
Just dump a bunch of different flavors of fruit juice together! You may or may not want it to be gross looking, since it is Oscar’s punch, so pay attention to the colors to get the look you want. You can also add Sprite just before serving.
This would be a cool thing to serve in, the blog said it came from a farm supply store and described it as about the size of a bushel basket.
Put equal parts pineapple juice and apricot/peach juice in the can.. and depending how big the trash can is.. add 1-4 containers of rainbow (or your favorite) sherbet. It tastes REALLY good and, the ‘foaminess’ on the top.. looks awesome to kids!

You could easily go with fruit punch, Sprite, and orange sherbert. Just search under punch at epicurious.com, or betty crocker.com. You may want to look for a lighter color punch (like Sparkling Citrus Punch for a Crowd from BettyCrocker.com) to save your house. I hate to think of toddlers with red drinks. It could be a mess if you’re not having the party outside. I think serving the punch in a new small plastic trash can from Target or a similar store would be really cute! Best of luck with your party:-)
