Hi, if u want to drink express ur milk for him so he has the goodness of breast milk also make up formula and rotate it so he can get used to formula. If u are like me my breasts got really sore and i switched her to formula so much easier. I think alcohol takes about 2 days to get out of ur system. ask ur local g.p for sum advice or ur maternal nurse.

There is no need to pump & dump milk after drinking. This does not increase the spped at which alcohol is removed from milk.

As for when you can resume breastfeeding after drinking, if you are sober enough to drive, then you are sober enough to breastfeed. If you’re too drunk to drive, you’re too drunk to be an effective and safe parent, let alone breastfeed. Have a couple drinks and enjoy yourself, but don’t get wasted and you and your child will be fine.

its alot of work for one nights drink!you have to express 3 days milk ahead of time and freez it,thein express for 3 days after and dump it.its relly not worth it
