how do i stop a woman from drinking during pregnancy?

She’s an alcoholic and 2-3 mo. pregnant and won’t stop drinking. What can I do to save the unborn baby? Is there anything I can do? She already lost her 3 mo. old son last year and she drank during that pregnancy too.

Wow…she has to want to help herself. Obviously she dont care about herself OR her baby.

Try to talk to her Doctor and tell him/her everything, he may be able to do something about it!

You can report her to the Department of Family and Children’s services. Technically, what she is doing is a crime and she can get treatment or be locked up for the duration of the preganacy to protect the child.

say “oh your baby is going to look so cute deformed, and unable to think or walk, i hope you have fun taking care of him!”
in happy tone.. or just tell her your not going to be her friend anymore if shes going to kill her baby.

If she is too stupid to stop when she knows shes pregnet, then mabey she shouldnt have a kid. First off Use a traqulizer to make her fall asleep. Sleeping pills are too dangrouse with alchol. THen tie her down and keep her there for the next 7 months.

Or lure her Into AA your choice.

this happened to my aunt
what i would do is tell her remember what happened to the other child and maybe that will help and if it doesn’t try to take her out and do some stuff that will maybe get her mind off of drinking

get her scared like how this can result into a deformed and retarded baby! breathing problems and all sorts of future surgery! and of course her baby will suffer BECAUSE OF HER!

you have to report her. contact your state’s dept of child and family services.

There’s nothing you can do, I hate to say it but it’s true. You can try calling her doc, the police or even CPS but the bottom line is that it is her body and however stupid she may be by drinking there’s no stopping her. By law, the baby is a part of her body (until it’s born) and she can do what she pleases.

Is this women un aware of the problems with fetal alcohol syndrome?
If she is drinking during pregnancy her child will be seriously damadged. A pregnant lady once drank a bottle of wine! One bottle of wine and her child is now mentally and physically disabled.
You need to stop her NOW! before it gets serious.
I can assure you she will not be able to cope with a disabled child let alone a healthy child if she is an alcoholic! You could also encourage her to go to AA meetings.

I would research fetal alcohol syndrome and find out the best information you can and show her the seriousness.

Call social services. They can offer her help, info, etc to help her stop.
