i am in the 12th grade and my baby dad is not with me and he wants to take my child from me but the problem is that is smoke marijuana and his girlfriend does crack what do i do i need help to keep my son i live with my mom and i have a stable house and i get ssi i know that i can be a good mom to my son please help me

That was a good one. If you get him arrested, then the court system will know that he is doing drugs. That is highly frowned upon in the court system (obviously- it’s illegal) and I am sure that they will award you full custody.

Do you have access to Legal Aid in your state? Call them. If there is public record of their drug use, police records, etc, that’s all you’ll need. Go to court and take credible witnesses with you that have seen them use drugs. I Hope that you don’t have similar activities in your past to rear it’s ugly head, if you do it could backfire.

They are right with the getting him arrested; that way when you go to court you have records and documents of him doing this and they will grant you the full custody but he may be allowed to see the child(ren) on supervised visits.
