In future don’t bloody drink – especially if it means your son will be taken away. I hope it DOES show up in your test because there is a reason for why you have been warned by social services but I doubt it will show up now. If your concerned drink water to ‘cleanse’ your system. But what ever the outcome – think of your consequences next time.

Why would you ever risk losing your son for some booze? Your liver function tests will probably be high if you are a drinker. It takes months for the levels to come down to normal in most people especially if they are an alcoholic and quit. But just because your enzymes are high isn’t proof positive that you have drank. They would have to do a blook alcohol level on you for that. If it was a week ago, it will not show up in the blood. At least it shouldn’t. But they would be highly suspicious with the high enzymes and might even consider them proof that you have been drinking.
