if that’s the only male role model the son has, then probably, especially at a young age, but if brought up right, then there is no reason why he should.

I disagree with this statement. Unless the sons are told it’s OK to be acting like their father then they might start to show behavior similar to the father. However, during life they will be told what their father is doing is wrong. But this may not always be the case.

My husband’s father had a huge porn problem and eventually cheated on his wife with a guy. They’re divorced now after approx 20 years of marriage.
My husband has a porn problem and we’ve not even been married a year yet. He has made huge effort to get his problem in check and I think he’s been doing well. I’m not sure, though, and I REALLY hope that we don’t end up where his parents ended up 20 years from now.

If no one important in their lives tells them that their father’s actions aren’t right then yes it’s possible. Remember behavior like that is normally followed if it’s considered acceptable.
