neither
Pregnant and not on meth. I am not exactly a big fan of drugs.
a pregnant 15 yr old cus at least it wont kill her, and she will have experience on how to have sex
And this is why i am never going to have kids.
Definitely pregnant, because abortions are still legal where I live.
You can’t just abort a meth addiction.
Pregnant… meth is BAAAAAAD!!!! stuff!
pregnant, or got someone pregnant…..
‘coz a guy w/ meth just messed up everything…..
while the pregnant thingy just screwed it up a bit but he still has a chance to do the things needed/required
pregnant, i can always force her to abort it, the meth kid might rob the shit out of me
Neither…… I have son and if he did get a girl pregnant then he would have to support it cause i wouldn’t.
I guess i would rather him make a mistake of having a kid so young then to be hooked on dope and possibly die.
him getting the girl pregnant it wont hurt his career. meth will
Neither!!
Pregnant diffently…….meth kills
pregnant
my nephew is a meth addict and it is not good
i guess meth is worse maybe depending on the level of addiction. If my son got a girl pregnant i would send him to work .
The pregnant one,,definitely!
thats a really hard question,
id probably say meth, cause you get get off it with rehab, but a child is forverer.
Pregnant, in my old neighborhood, we have hit the double digits of dead from addiction. Life is better.
neither for obvious reasons
but pregnant, less risks, easier to solve if seen as a problem
Pregnant 15 year old. Someone on meth has a good chance of moving to something more harsh and killing him/herself in the process. A pregnant 15 year old can make her life better at some point in time. Learning responsibility is key, meth is moving you in the opposite direction
While addiction is hard to break, it is possible to recover from meth addiction and go on with one’s life a bit easier than becoming a mom. Potential treatments for meth addition are overall a bit less traumatic, I expect, than options to resolve a pregnancy in a young girl.
Pregnant
Depends on how bad the addiction. Did I catch it in time, and it’s nothing a little rehab can’t fix? Or are her teeth falling out and she’s covered in sores and has been turning tricks for meth? Because if it’s the first case, I’ll take the meth, but if it’s the second case, then pregnant but otherwise healthy.
Pregnant because it’s easier to fix that issue, however neither is what I’d call a good situation.
you can have them both, i want no part of it
i think i would rather have a pregnant one. not as risky as having the feds bust up in your place and taking everything all cause of some crack head. not only that, you wouldn’t have to worry about all the lil` crack head friends running around stealing everything you own, your kid going to jail or finding them dead one morning somewhere around the house. you know, just the usual crack head things.
Although I would love to have a little meth head running around, I think I would rather have a little grandchild.
No question about it….a pregnant 15 year old. Both are unfortunate situations, but at least you will receive a gift from the pregnancy. what good is going to come from the meth addiction? only heartache…
A pregnant 15 yr old. I’ve known people addicted to meth and it consumes their life so much that their attitude completely changes and they even may steal from you…desperation for money to support their habit. It is a difficult habit to break for most. With pregnancy you have the chance for it to help the 15 year old mature and you get the blessing of a wonderful new addition to your family…that outweighs a meth addiction any day in my opinion.
Well of course neither but if I had to choose… I would say pregnancy… because we could always go with adoption or try to raise the baby… but meth is a ugly ugly addiction with no light at the end of the tunnel… I dont know about you but i would rather been addicted to loving my child then being addicted to meth
If you have a pregnant 15 yrs old or a meth addicted one, you outta accept both of them if they know better the difference
between a 1 yr old and a 15 yrs old.
Umm, what kind of a question is this? I mean in this day and age there is enough of this type of “stuff” going on with out hypothetical questions too!
But if it came right down to it, I would rather have a pregnant daughter then a meth addicted one.
If my daughters were to become either, i would stand my them 100%, and do everything in my power to help them.
What a question!
A pregnant fifteen year old. The child will be a gift from God. A meth head is a gift to self destruction to that one addicted. Much more the worst of the two..and I don’t mean anything bad about a 15 yr old being pregnant..it happens…but to be an addicted meth person is doomed.
You have to find out which one costs more. Which one has a bigger risk of death? I’d probably rather have the pregnant 15 yr old. At least she could get welfare/foodstamps. She’d have a better chance of supporting herself. A meth addict is useless. And expensive. And when they cook that stuff up it affects your health if you live with them. A pregnant girl won’t make your property value go down….unless she brings an immature violent boyfriend into your home.
The pregnancy is what I would rather have. It is easily cured versus having a 15 year old addicted to meth. Meth is very addictive and I would rather have my 15 year old alive than dead from what amateurs are cooking up for people to ingest.
Pregnant…..so I can kill her, lol. Sorry probably not that funny, but I wouldn’t want a drug addicted kid because they always say they want to change but quite often never do, then there is the stealing and robbery to support their drug habit, let alone all the lying and cheating. Pregnant hands down, at least all they did was make a mistake by having sex like all teens do, you can help then because they actually want help.
okay, i have a son, not old enough to get anyone pregnant yet. but i would rather him get someone pregnant than be a drug addict. it is so hard to stop an addiction and so much easier to love a child. of course if my son is 15 and going to be a dad he will need the help of parents to support the baby. that part would put some pressure on the family. but definately would pick the pregnant over drugs.
Neither? If I had to choose one then I’d go with pregnant.
You can abort a pregnancy, and even if it’s carried to term, a baby can be put up for adoption, having no long term negative effect on the child’s life. Plus with the quality of medical care in developed countries these days having a baby is fairly safe – the mortality rate of birthing mothers is relatively low.
Meth on the other hand is extremely addictive, and addictions can be really difficult to conquor, potentially taking years with many relapses. Meth is also extremely bad for your health and has a high potential to cause long term health problems for anyone who is a heavy user. It’s also illegal, which creates the potential for a juvenile record and possible incarceration, not to mention that the hypothetical 15 year old would have to get their drugs from some where, which means dealing with drug dealers and other people who may be dangerous.
well, make me appreciate having a boy !!!!!!!!and very proud of him too. i hope my friend those are not your choices. id leave and wouldnt leave an address or a number been there once and done that and WONT do it again!!!!!!!
a pregnant 15 yr old would be better all round than a meth head cos a pregnant 15 yr old will bring life into the world whereas a meth head will only take their life out of the world
Drug addiction is curable. Why have her mess up her life and an unborn babies also. I’d have to say drug addiction…
Well, It would be better to have a pregnant 15yr old than a meth head 15yr old kid. Because a meth head kid would be hard to deal with then a pregnant kid
PREGNANT!
Not that either of these are spectacular options…I’d like to think my children could make it to adulthood with no addictions and no children….but if I had to pick one I’d rather my child (either one of them) come home with a positive pregnancy test than with a meth addiction.
I watched first hand as my ex-best friend got into meth and then became an addict. I tried everything I could to help her-I even called the cops on her-but nothing was going to stop her from doing what she wanted to do. Meth takes over your whole life, whether you intend it to or not, and destroys everything and everyone around you. It is something that you never “get over” even if you get rehab’d-you will always be an addict and you will always struggle.
Also-I am a young mom (not 15, but young) and I think there are far worse things than having babies early.
If these are my only options I would pick the pregnancy situations… sometimes having a baby grows people up… Drug problems are tough to overcome.
I don’t understand the lack of values. I wasn’t going to respond to this but the answers are out there. Teach your children values. They shouldn’t be sexually active at 15, or involved with drugs. A parent should not have to weigh a decision like this. Teach our children and they will be OK. Sorry for the soapbox but come on people. I have seen pregnancy mess up peoples lives just as bad as drugs.
Neither. But if I had to choose: My son getting a girl pregnant would be far better than dealing with drug abuse.
In many parts of the world children are born to 15 year old parents and it is a part of the culture.
While this doesn’t mesh with our ideals, the facts expose that it is very common on a global basis.
Indeed, we do not live in a third world country and this isn’t normal in the USA, I would gladly accept a new child into this world vs. the nagging problems of drug abuse in my family.
I would solicit the court for custody if needed.
Pregnant. Don’t wanna deal with a drug addicted child.
Pregnant. I have a teenage niece who had a daughter and they’re getting along just fine – but i couldn’t image her on meth!
At least when she has a kid she becomes more responsible, not irresponsible like drug users.
Neither….I’d rather have a 15 year old doing 15 year old things.
Pregnancy & drugs aren’t supposed to be what 15 year olds do.
pregnant….it doesn’t kill and destoy the 15 year old.
Pregnant. At least a good thing would come out of that, a new life. Meth addiction is really bad and NOTHING good would come out of it.
