I have a 21 year old Step Daughter who has recently been in and out of jail. She is a meth user. We have gotten her a sponsor to help her, but she has only contacted her once. She is doing nothing to help herself by getting help or a job. She lays around the house and does not clean up after herself and rarely bathes. She also brings home not so trust worthing people and I have tried to talk to my husband about putting an end to it. And all he says if I don’t let her have her friends over she will leave. What do I do? When my son had a problem we sent him on his way. He has learned to get by and live with the mistakes he has made, but my husband finds it alot different because she is a female. Please help me.
What can I do, I am a workaholic, have a daughter who is using meth, a son who does not have a rewarding job.
I have a good husband, make good money, but I smoke, drink, and my blood pressure is up. I tried Chantix, but it made my blood pressure even worse. What do I do…..I feel like I am dying…..my coping mechanism is shot…………….how do I get help…..does anyone have any answers for me. I just feel like I have no control. Just a thought, Son dies from meth 3 days after the daughter is born, making the baby the only heir to Anna’s money if something happened to her. Now something has happened and there are so many more claims coming out for that poor little girl who is the only heir to that money. Why didn’t the claims come out earlier and wouldn’t it just be a coincident if anna died from the same thing her son died from.
In october my fiance’s EX (babymomma) hid her pregnancy had a child Little did we know she was on crystal meth Her son and her both tested positive for crystal. CPS took her son away and gave temp custody to HER mom. since the custody was 50/50 with my fiance and his EX, CPS called him to come get his daughter or she would be in the care fo CPS. He got her and hte court granted temp full custody.in November they went back to court,she was a no show and they granted my fiance full custody. Court said If she completeed 6 months of rehab she can go and see if she can get visitation. Its been 6 months and still not complete. We would let her go to her grandmas house since the Ex was not allowed near the boy. and we trusted the grandmna and took her word. We just found out the Ex moved in witht he mom and they tried hiding it from us and tellin the lil girl to not tell us. well she did. we plan on cutting ties but what are the gmoms rights? also the mom getting visitation or custody?
Mind you we have a 2 bedroom apt VERY nice with just him, myself, my daughter and her. The EX lives in a run down 2 bedroom apt with like seriously 7 people living there. HSe has not completed her treatment… but if she goes to court what are her chances?

My son, 25 in LA County. In 2001, he joined the military and married a young girl that was living with me because her mother was an alcoholic. She was 17, but got her mother’s signature to marry.
While overseas serving in Iraq, he came home to find his wife was screwing around with another guy on the base. He went AWOL, refused to go back to the base and was released on “Other than Honorable” terms.
He went back to her. They were up here at my house one day and Ry picked up her cell phone and found a picture of his wife giving a guy a “Lewinsky”. He hit her. I called the Sheriff. He was arrested and never did his probation and was arrested again. This time doing almost a year in prison.
While he was in prison, his darling wife got pregnant with yet a different guy’s kid. She has since given the child up for adoption. Yes, there are drugs involved. Wife got on meth while son was overseas…Ryan got on them too. There have been MANY drug arrests and theft arrests made on the wife. Only one drug arrest on my son.
He got out yesterday, the have me listed as a “victim” which is crap! I was never in any danger and I told the Sheriff that! How do I get that removed so that he can come see me without threat of being re-arrested? Also, he pleaded guilty to all charges…he shouldn’t have. Hell, I would have hit her too! How do we fix this thing?
He brought home divorce papers from the prison. Thank you God. Maybe I can have my family back and stop this nightmare that this girl has put this family through. He wants his life back. I would sell my soul to give it to him.

my sons father passed away. he was originally in the hospital for pnemonia. they did a lot of different tests to determine the actual cause of death and ultimately they put as his cause of death “methamphetimine ingestion” he hadn’t used in three days and had eaten and slept. i dont understand why they put this as cause of death.
well, they did an autopsy and that came back undetermined and then they did a biopsy and thats when they decided with the meth thing. also he had been put on life support in the hospital and ultimatly his dad pulled the plug…wouldnt that have something to do with cause of death?

My ex i know has been on cocaine before i know this for a fact but yesterday his mom told me he was restless and he kept moving constantly while asleep and talking loudly it almost looked like convulsions( she taped it) well when i went to see him he had huge pimple like sores or spider like bites all over his forehead he says he thinks something bit him but he was home all morning not only that but there was a huge bump at top of head. I filed for an expedited hearing in Washington administrative courts. My son was denied enrollment in an alternative high school without benefit of an IEP meeting. The letter denied enrollment because of a perceived disability, ADD. The rules for expedited hearings say no continuances may be granted, the district was given continuances at every hearing by the Judge from Sept. to Feb.
At the same time I found out my ex was using meth and I filed for custody of my 3 kids. The district claimed I had made threats of phsical violence against district employees, and filed for intervenor status in the custody of my children. They submitted 3 letters aledging that I made these threats and their request was granted. At the trial the author of the letters admitted under oath that I had never made these threats. They felt treatened by my presense at the IEP meetings. The Courts have violated our rights to due process. I have been jailed for 4 days, cannot get a job, lawyers cost to much. HELP!!!

The district felt theatened because I knew what my sons rights were and filed a complaint against them.
We adopted our oldest son when he was 3. He had been in an abusive home, and then in several foster homes. He still had bruises on him when we took him home. He grew up with our other children, and left when he was 18, but kept in touch. He joined the Marines, and did 2 tours in Iraq. The experience drove him to drink heavily, and he ended his military carreer going to the on base AA meetings regularly. Since then he’s flunked out of college, and has begun taking crystal meth. He has no job,and he steals from us to support his habit. I still have a teenager at home, and I couldn’t expose him to his older brothers problems. I kicked him out, for a while he broke in and stole stuff including an ATM card which he stole about $250 bucks with until we found out and canceled the card. We secured the house enough that he doesn’t seem to be breaking in anymore. He’s living across the street with the jerk I suspect is furnishing him with the meth.
He’s still my son. Help. He’s 26

Lately, the more I read about ADHD in adults, I am thinking more and more that I may suffer from this. I’ve always had trouble concentrating, it can take 3 times of reading something before it sinks in or if the room is quiet during a test, I am the one always looking around the room at each and every little noise. I’m also very unorganized, I can easily make appointments but I have alot of trouble getting to them because I’m always forgetting. I have a brother and a son with ADD.
Now, I have a history of meth use. Can I still take the medication? Do doctors automatically think that a patient is just trying to score drugs? How do I go about bringing it up? Please help…Serious Only
My husband (seperated for 3 years) killed his self last year and left behinde a 5 year old son that misses him dearly!! I didnt tell my son thats the way he died. He is too young. He thinks his dad is a hero!! We always pray every night to his dad!! Ive been told by different people that someone who takes there life doesnt go to heaven!! My husband was a drinker and crystal meth user in the past. When he died there was liquor plus pain killers in his system. So he wasnt in a good state of mind when this accured. He planned this though and also left letters to alot of family members including me and his son. I want to believe he is in heaven.
Right now I’m going through a paternity suit filed by the state against my son’s father.They’ve given him ample opportunities to take paternity tests, but never showed up. Now it’s going to court.
He’s made it known that if he pays child support, he will seek visitation or partial custody.
He has an extensive criminal background including meth manufacturing/distribution (in 2 counties)and recently picked up domestic assault including felionous restraint and another assault case in another county. He’s currently been order to complete Drug Court and to live in a rehibilitation house. I’ve been told that as long as he’s doing what he’s supposed to be doing, he will probably be granted visitation rights. However, my son is only one and I would at least like for him to be old enough to pick up the phone and be able to call someone if he’s in trouble.
Anyone else experience any situation like this? Serious matter. No comments about my choice in men… he didn’t use to be such a psycho:(

Help….I have two children age 19 and 11 from a previous marriage. My children and I left 6 years ago after their Father got “hooked” on meth. Since then, they have a very little, if any contact with their family on his side. (They have a step-father and he wants to adopt my 11 year old) The last time my 19 year old had contact with his G’ma she needed help cleaning out the house we use to live in (with their father) and my son found meth making ingredients in a cooler. He pointed it out to his G’ma and she put it in her trunk and left with it. Of course, my son (who was 16 at the time) did not tell me this until about 6 months later. This woman has supported her son and his drugs from day one and still thinks he has no problem even though he is now serving a 10 year prison term. Okay, here is my problem: We have found out she has lost her house and is moving into the small town we are living in and is also bring my ex’s drugged out girlfriend who right after our divorce spit at and burned my daughter with a cigerette at a funeral we attended. She has had nothing to do with my 11 year old daughter and I am thankful for that, but now she and the girlfriend has started driving by, trying to follow my daughter and my daughter is scared of them. My daughter says she wants nothing to do with them, she is embarressed and now worries that people are going to think off her different because her Dad is in jail. This has never been an issue with her before. I think since the G’ma is in town and driving by it is bring up the issue. I hate that this has happened to my children and I have always been truthful with them about the situation with their Father, and they have seemed to deal with it pretty well. What should I do? Should I confront them and tell them to stay away…Which I am scared that will turn real ugly…I do not want my daughter hurt or scared, but I do not know how to go about it? Help???
They said that they found meth. I think it was sad because she just had a bay and her son died, like, 5 months ago of meth and anti-depressants. She also collapsed on the sixth story of a hotel in Florida before she died.
