Anyone can make an anonymous call to child protective services but you need to have a suspicion of abuse not just to check up on your ex wife.

You can make a anonymous call to child protection services, however, they are not going to do anything for you in this case unless you have reasons to think that there is some kind of abuse going on in the home.

You get the local police to drive by, but again they really won’t do anything unless there is due cause, and you certainly won’t get a copy of the findings if nothing is going on (which we hope not).

On the other hand, you can hire a private investigator to look into the matter for you. They will document their findings no matter what is really going on. It’s your best bet. And after, if something is going on that is abusive, you can use the finding, and documentation in family court, and as justification for you calling Child Protective Services.

Unforutately it is not free.

If you want something free, odds are you are going to have to go yourself (which I’m guessing you can’t in the first place due to certain constraints), or have a friend/family member act like a PI.
