My son drop his Motorola Razor in the pool. I’ve trying drying it out, cleaning with alcohol and just bought a new battery and still nothing. The outside charge indicator light comes on when plugged to charge and at times the key/number area will light up but nothing more. Any ideas I can try?

Might still be damp on the inside, try blow drying it with a low speed, my cell fell in a pool and its how I got mine working again. Hope it helps!

it might be too late now, but sometimes soaking it in a bag of rice for a day or two will get rid of some of the water.

try making some bread then after the bread is done and toaster is off but still a pretty hot. Put ur phone in for a minute or 2 it will probally make it work.

bring it to a cellphone repair shop. I think they have a stuff for cellphones that got wet.

Dropping a phone in the pool has more likely than not, permanently prevented you from having future use of your Motorola Razor. Sorry!

mine 2! look on the back under the battery. there should be a dot. if its white, your fine, if its ytellow you have minimal water dammage. if it’s red your phone is totaled! sorry! also, put it in the freezer. worked 4 mine!

try putting it in a clothesdryer with some type of padding attached to dry out the insides, BUT NO OTHER CLOTHES. You don’t want static electricty.

If you tried to power it on right after you pulled it out of the pool then there’s nothing you can do about it because all the circuits are now fried. The Razors also come with a little white circle sponge on the inside that changes color when it comes in contact with water so if you try to return it they’ll know what happened. Your best bet is to buy a refurbished one online or if you had a protection plan just call them up and say your phone was stolen.

Its just water and you might be able to get it work. First off, remove the battery and cover and flip the phone open. Then blowdry it non stop on medium heat for about 10 minutes. DURING THIS PROCESS DO NOT TURN THE PHONE ON OR PLUG IT IN. Then lay the phone next to a window that recieves direct sunlight. When you set it down put it to where the BACK IS ON TOP AND THE LITTLE VENTS BELOW THE BATTERY SLOT ARE EXPOSED. Do not put the battery in just yet. Then leave the phone there for 5 days. Do not put the battery in or charge it. Perioidically blow dry the phone during the 5 days. Once 5 days have elapsed, put the battery in, plug the phone in via charger and power on the phone. It should work then. The biggest thing is to not power the phone.
