A friend lost custody of her son, and now her son is with the father, but in a dangerous situation….?

He is a 7 yr. old boy and the father is an alcoholic who drinks heavily every single day, cuts himself when he drinks, and is often passed out and naked. He is on welfare, and no one can see him getting better. The mother doesn’t know this is happening, what to do, can she get custody for her son after she didn’t get it the first time around.

if she lost custody of her son, chances are that she’s a worse mom.

what you said about the father is probably not true if he was granted custody of the child.

Why does she not know it and you do? She needs to go to the judge who signed the order.and with proof and witnesses.

there could be a million & one reasons she lost her son in a custody battle, even including the fact that she sould still be a good mom..sterotypes don’t necessarily work in this scenario people..too many other factors could be involved…I’d call CPS….& call mom…
